( Help) Computer runs very slowly.

My computer is running very slowly.my friend re installed the operating system recently but still it is too slow.I can't even watch offline video as ti streeeeeeeeeeches a lot.
What could be the problem?

Initially I thought it was due to "system Idle " which was about 92% of cpu but i read few articles that said that is not the problem but i couldn't determine the reason for the slowness.

Please help me on this

  • Almost all the problems probably start with "malware" which can be cleaned off with some patience and a couple of free tools. Probably 75% of my service calls are caused by this. If you get sent to a different site than what you searched for or if you are plagued with popups etc. try cleaning your system. You can get a link to the best (in my opinion ) cleanup tool from my site at raymondott.com and read the second post "using the internet as a tool"
