Are there any other Warriors out there that smoke electronic cigarettes? If so, what kind do you have?

I'm currently using the JoyeTech eGo-T, but I plan on purchasing a ProVari soon. The eGo-T is a good piece and has good vapor production with the right juice, but I've had some problems with my tanks leaking. I lose juice and it makes a mess everywhere. Other than that it's a good pv.

    I bought one for my mother a while back... she loved it until everyone started throwing a fit about it. She can't use it in restaurants or any of the places she would want to smoke where she can't smoke regular cigarettes. The main thing she wanted it for was to smoke in the car even since around here you can't smoke in your car if there are kids there. She pulled into a parking lot and a police officer told her even the e-cig wasn't okay. She has pretty much given up on it even though I keep telling her it is better for her than regular cigs.

    I have PureSmoke (Pure Smoke Online Age Verification) 877-880-pure

    (I buy the unit and the cartridges much cheaper than online at a discount cigarette store.) equivalent to a carton of cigs for the price of about 2 packs

    It is ok and does help but I am still smoking additive free cigarettes (down from 30 to 10 a day).

    The eCig does work but I find that it is not nicotine that is the addiction, but something else like obsession.

    I have always wondered whether cigs relax or speed - I know if I really hit the eCig hard I can't stay awake so I guess nicotine is a downer.

    I know it helps me get through the urges or the times when I go to reach for a cigarette, but it just doesn't really cut it all the way. I think it is mindset above all else and if you make up your mind to quit then it can help you if you let it.

    From the reviews I have read puresmoke has less chemicals than any other eCig (at least as of a year ago or so). It is made in the US unlike the others and really has nothing but nicotine.

    I just bought one tonight from the local gas station, its a brand called Metro

    So far I've only had 1 real cigarette since I bought it, and that was around 5 hours ago.

      Awesome to hear from you guys. I went from a pack and a half a day to 0 within 3 days of first getting one. It worked for me! I've also had problem in public places with it. People assume it's a regular cigarette and freak out. They are becoming more popular though so maybe people will become more accepting of them in public.

        I totally know about the freak out. (it sucks, by the way!!)

        Weird story: I did a play once where the char smoked, and for our play, I used a pen. Then I was playing with the pen and found that I think up some really good ideas when fake-smoking with the pen. Problem is... it's a pen, and people *still* freak out. (don'tsmokedon'tsmokedon'tsmoke! It's a pen... Oh... well don't smoke!!!) Geez...

        I just finished freelancing a bunch of articles about Electronic Cigarettes, and frankly, it's really tempting to get one even though I've only ever 'smoked' a pen... I'm all for people doing some kind of E Cig rally or something where we all meet up in a public place and smoke E Cigs until they *get* that it's really not a big deal...

        If they have the smell, or the same effect, on others, they WILL complain! What do THEY care if you intrude in some other fashion, etc...?

          Steve - there is NO SMOKE and NO SMELL - They have completely harmless vapors - so it acts like smoke for the smoker but then disappears immediately.

          There is nothing to object to - these are usually anal retentive, politically correct control mongers that complain just because they can.
