Mickey Mouse On American Currency?

WHY NOT? The American economy is on a roller coaster. Over half the country is in a fantasy land. A lot of people feel that a lot of the US goods that still say they are made here are mickey mouse!

Until we are back on real currency (i.e. metal backed) it actually is a more realistic representation of the fiat crap we're running on now. FED money really is Goofy. The organization behind it is pretty mousy, too. Ya have to be Daffy not to see that.

Honestly I could care less as long as it spends as well as the ones with the dead presidents on them. I could sit and speculate all day over all the reasons why our money system sucks but in the end it's irrelevant because I have to use those dollars to pay for the roof over my head.

I recently wrote a post about how a person with 1,2, or even TWENTY million dollars is NOT a millionare! In the 1930s that would have you SET FOR LIFE! You could buy a nice home AND a nice ship and STILL have plenty of money.

TODAY? A small ship(40') will set you back maybe $250,000! A middle class home could EASILY set you back $500,000! That leaves you with $250,000 Enough for about 250 round trips to europe(if you don't stay there even a DAY, or even get a taxi!). Want to stay a week at an american style hotel in europe? It will cost over $100/night. $700/week which means you have wasted over 3 trips just on the week stay! HELL, one "US representative" that claims to fight for the little guy stayed in a hotel that cost $11,000 a NIGHT!

OK, now WHAT were you saying about "needing those dollars".

Hey, there are lots of nice designs on Canadian coins, especially quarters. That said, I don't know if I'll remain Canadian if Prince Charles ugly inbred mug ends up on our money after he becomes king. Mickey Mouse on Canadian money would be better.
