Why Are You Single?

Because I'm not attached to a Siamese twin?

I'm not single, just silly.

1: Because I dont want anyone telling me what to do with my kids or grandkids, and eventually they all want to tell you how you should be... No thanks.

2: If I feel like doing something I want to do it, including working for 72 hours straight without guilt of feeling like I neglected someone.

3: Because Im selfish in that I only want companionship when I want it, and dont want it when I dont want it.

4: I dont like feeling obligated to consider someone elses opinion in how I live my life at any given moment.

Thats only a bad attitude if you have that obligation. I dont.

5: I dont like people telling me what SHOULD be important to me, or what my priorities are SUPPOSED to be... Im fine having my own agenda thank you.

I'm single because I've had bad taste in men and they always manage to ruin me financially, then it takes longer every time to get my feet back under me. I can't afford to make another mistake, so I'm really cautious - which is okay, because I've not met a man in a few years with enough in common with me to actually interest me enough to become involved. When I do meet someone, it doesn't take long before they are telling me where I'm allowed and not allowed to go and expecting me to be home whenever they decide they want to be around. That kind of crap doesn't fly very far with a woman who is known to just take off and go into the mountains for days at a time with no notice.

I like my freedom. When I find a guy with a scientific mind who loves to be in the wilderness and doesn't have intense needs to have a mommy around at beck and call or to schedule my life for me, I might not be single. Until then, I really like single life other than it's really hard to afford life in this economy with no second income.

Why am I single?

When I was single, it was because I was extremely picky (Got married at 27).

Now I am single because my spouse is on deployment. =(

I just want to enjoy my life as a single

I think I am single because I have three kids, I have had to do everything myself including learning how to fix my own car, changing tyres, got really handy with a drill, I'm a work-a-holic and I don't like anyone telling me how I should run my life after I have been doing it all by myself for so long.

I cannot do the 'helpless-bat-my-eyelids' routine. :rolleyes:

Not to say I would not like to be in a relationship. Just think it is really hard to find a man that would not be threatened by my independence.

i am not married neither i am in a relationship nor i have a girlfriend because spent 18 hours on internet and rest let me guess ahh 24-18= 6 . yes i got it six hours sleeping . wow i just know that i can calculate.

I was with a girl for 10 years and we broke up 2 years ago. I'm now 32 years old and doing IM full time. I like being single at the moment, but eventually I would like to get into a relationship, just because being lonely sucks.

most of the men/women are single because they want freedom.... marriage meanz no freedom... this is the main reason..
