If you could work from anywhere, where would you live?

Hi just wondering some of your thoughts. If you were making $5000 a month or more online, where would you want to go explore/live in the world and why? Or would you just choose to stay in your home country, and why? Curious to hear feedback

If all my income was from online then I would travel on a more regular basis but go to as many places around the world as possible - staying for a few months at a time to try to get to know them better than just a weekend tourist week but not long enough to develop leasehold agreements and ongoing bills..!

Thats a good dream. It is hard sometimes though to keep your Internet business stable and do short term travel..Even if you stay someplace for a few months, it's very easy to get off track and sucked into exploring your new environment. Also finding cozy places to sit, work and relax can sometimes be impossible. Many third world countries don't know about or care that people work from there computers. When I find a Starbucks, it's like walking into the American Embassy. Either way, it's a great goal and just getting out and doing it to see how to make it work, is a very worthy goal.

Well I would have to stay relatively close to home because my whole family lives here and I wouldn't want to leave them. But I would definitely spend some time in New York City. I love the busy life of Manhattan.

I'd also say, if I was making $10,000 per month, I would like to live in Miami/Cali and live the good life.

Philippines that is why im doing this. So I can move there, and live my new life.
I would rather just work a regular job. But I can't in the Philippines with their immigration rules. So this is what I have to do to earn my income.

      Mainly Thailand.

I'd have a nice apartment in Bangkok, plus a beach house on Koh Phangan.

And I'd be out in Koh San Road or Haad Rin beach most nights, LOL.

Wow, I can't believe someone would actually want to live in the country where I'm from. Thanks, man! I mean, the Philippines get a lot of flak even though these are not true most of the time. I appreciate your admiration for my country. There are indeed things that you can only do and experience in the Philippines and nowhere else. Hope you could realize your dream soon

Philippines is also one of my favorites...I would love to live there one day as well. Thailand I heard is incredible but have yet to go. I hear the food is amazing and super cheap. And Daniel 22, what seems to be the problems your having? What are you doing now to make money online?

    • When I'm past 65 and living off investments with the occasional online work, I'd like a pied a terre each in London and New York.

When I got tired of one place, I'd hop on an ocean liner and six days later be on the other side of the Atlantic.

Though I wouldn't want to live *in* London but rather somewhere an hour away by train, somewhere out near Windsor, for example. Same for New York; it could be one of the outer boroughs. Staten Island would work for me.

I actually have this opportunity, could go anywhere... but choose to stick close to my family in Virginia of all places haha..

I've dabbled with real-estate in South Carolina (charleston area) but haven't pulled the trigger quite yet. With losing my grandparents, and seeing my parents having a rough time with it, I just chose to stick around a bit longer.

Will def. make the move next year though down south or to San Diego!

I'm going to be moving to somewhere near the equator later this year. The land is being paid for and the planning has already begun. By this time next year I'll be sipping homemade wine out of a pineapple, trying to get some work done if I'm not too distracted by the ladies and probably screaming like a little girl every time I see a big hairy tarantula.

    Life will be good.

I'd live right where we are now - Central Texas on a golf course. There's nothing like walking out the back door and playing as much golf as we want. And the view from our backyard won't change. It's a serene setting and we are truly blessed.

I would travel. I'd love to go back to Italy, Switzerland and France. It would be nice to see Germany and Greece too. Wouldn't mind hopping in a motorhome and traveling around the US either.

Frequent traveling would be the best thing for me to do... Though Hawaii is always the best for staying a few weeks or months... Then when I get to grow the business and need to hire more people, then I'd be in the Philippines for a few weeks or months to watch or grow my BPO business, then back home or traveling again...

Ok, this bugs me...Sorry my man, but you need to travel a little more.. Do you really think the United States is the only place with fast Internet? Do you realize nearly every city I have traveled to throughout the last 2 and half years of living in South America is being completely rewired with Fiber Optics?

And even when I don't have the fastest Internet, I still run my world wide business from an air card, while living in a paradise most people can't even fathom. Truly, it's that good.
