Customer emails me 5 minutes after purchase asking for a refund. Okay, obvious serial refunder, but okay...I refund his purchase.

I them send him an email saying it's been refunded but then go to DLGuard and ban his email address. It's within my right not to have to deal with this scum again.

Guess what?

Five minutes ago, he just tried to download the product that he asked for a refund for.

Enough proof for me to conclude that he just wanted the product for nothing.

Well guess what? He's not getting it.

This is why I can't wait til I can FINALLY find a buyer for my business and be done with this crap once and for all.

I don't need it...I don't want it...and I'm tired of dealing with it.

Flame away. I really couldn't care less.

    You may make it harder to find a buyer with the attitude you're showing. But I completey understand your frustration

    Well let's hope that means he didn't download it before requesting the refund. Probably thought he was being smart and thought he'd still get it.

    I had that happen once when a sale went through, then it was refunded through 2checkout - customer never asked me for a refund, just went straight through 2co and they refunded him straight away. So I went in and blocked his email address and half an hour later I get an email from him asking why he can't download the product!

    There are so many people out there that buy with the intention of refunding straight away and getting the product for free. I guess you gotta take the good with the back and take satisfaction in the fact that he tried to download it and couldn't

    You can't take this crap so personally. You refunded, you protected your product he lost. You did what you were supposed to do. There are a-holes out there and always will be.

    Focus on the good customers. That makes it worthwhile

    Are you protecting your on line business? If you have a website, blog, ecommerce store you NEED to back it up regularly. Your webhost will only protect you so much. Check out Quirkel. Protect yourself.

    If you're going to get rid of it all anyway, why not just make your payments go through clickbank, instead of paypal, and let clickbank handle all of the refunds etc for you?

    Then you can just set it and forget it if you really want to.

      Because the refund rates through Clickbank are a joke, which is why I won't
      ever host a product with them again. At least with PayPal, the rates are low.

      It's just these types of "customers" that drive me crazy.

    Better yet hire a "customer service" person who handles all the refunds and daily operations for you so you only need to mess with the big picture stuff... like driving traffic and creating new offers.
