Story Inspirational Yet Shocking

Here's a story about how a 12 year old managed to raise funds to save his 72-year-old grandmother's home from foreclosure, the result of a missed mortgage payment. The article reveals that this woman provided a foster home to hundreds of children throughout the years. It is shocking when big-time criminal enterprises such as banks and mortgage companies can be legally permitted to carry out such an outrage, and even more shocking that authorities would display such a lack of gratitude for this womans selfless service to so many children in unfortunate circumstances. However, it is inspirational to know that in the face of government-subsidized criminal corporations running roughshod and government utterly failing in its duty to exercise justice, that a child could singlehandedly rectify the situation and reach out to people who actually have a heart.

It is a heartwarming story - but houses don't go into foreclosure after "a missed mortage payment" - the news articles doesn't say how many payments were missed but it was more than one. In most states it's three missed payments before the foreclosure is filed.

The story is a good one - the rant about evil corporations not so much.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.
