Wow. Sal should really enjoy this one...

An animated map that plots all of 2011's earthquakes that registered above magnitude 6. Watch it in full screen, and keep an eye on two things. The change in activity at just under the 2 minute mark, and the pattern of yellow dots that forms, each dot marking the epicenter of an earthquake.

    • Plotting that map would depend on what you are looking for...do you want to plot the "fire" ?
      - or the "ring"?

      I mean, I've heard and read of the Van Allen Belt...

      So...what you're saying is, this is related to a Van Halen Belt?
