I get a heads up on free and bargain books from Amazon from pixelofink.com (not my site).. download about 4-5 a day and save them to my library. Mostly fictional offerings but some are quite good.

Last book I've read was the fourth and final installment of "The Inheritance" series by Christopher Paolini. It's a Young Adult book and although I should be reading non-fiction or non-YA books like most people my age, I couldn't seem to ignore my craving for YA novels. It's all Christopher Pike's fault

The Idea Book (second book) from Fredrik Haren (preview)

"This book is based on the premise that good ideas do not just appear
by themselves: they need to be enticed out. Inspiration and motivation
are two surefire ways of drawing out ideas. And it is just this that is the
purpose of the book in your hand: to inspire and motivate you to come
up with and write down lots of ideas."

I read regularly and alternate between fiction, science fiction and non-fiction. The last book I read was a science fiction titled The Forge of God by Greg Bear. Awesome!

I liked it so much for it's down to earth (no pun intended) characterization and for its focus on believable science that I started another WF topic thread about it here: For those interested in Aliens and Doomsday scenarios ...

I just finished reading the last book in a three book series.

      The titles are as follows:

      1.) Comes The End
      2.) The Gathering
      3.)The Promise

By author William Creed who is a Michigan author and the reason I bought the series.

It's a fascinating fiction thriller utilizing scriptures regarding the end times and miracles and signs and wonders in the last days mixed with UFO's and aliens and what "could" happen.

Let me emphasize again the word "fiction"
