Total Number Of People In Internet Marketing

God knows best and I might be wrong...

But based on my on survey as of today (28th February 2012) and based on only the 27 internet marketing forums I visit...

There are a total of 2,249,777 members. That's over 2.2 million! Talk about competition. LOL

But I am sure there are overlapping. The 2.2 million is not unique. I'm sure there are people here in this forum who are also registered on another forum.

I love WF for the support and camaraderie given between the Warriors!

If Admin wants to know the current standings of this forum, you can PM me. And those members interested in more information on my findings, please PM me too! Have a good one.

Take care,
Surveyor

As you have said, I am sure that many marketers are members of various forums and online social communities, so that will definitely affect your results. On the other hand, there are many, many marketers who are not a member of the 27 forums you surveyed, so my personal gut feeling is that the number of Internet Marketers worldwide is far above the 2.2 mil revealed in your research.

2.2 million... from all over Earth...

Out of a potential 7,000 million on the Earth... or about maybe 2,500 million on the Internet...

And how many of those are duplicate or spam accounts? Maybe 1/5 to 2/3s... I have no idea for sure, really... that is just a guess when thinking about the rest of the Internet.

Does that change the way it is seen?

As you say it's probably much larger than the initial figures, but it sure won't stop anyone from continuing doing what they love

Hate to burst your bubble, but your number is TOTALLY meaningless! There is NO correlation!

As for duplicates? There may be a LOT. There are browsers, testers, harvesters, etc... I'm not there, but many here have said THEY are! Still, there are MANY that would't THINK of such a thing, and you are NOT counting THEM!

Could there possibly exist internet marketers who are not members of an internet marketing forum?

I understand that changing people's perspective is hard. Only they themselves can accept things, the sooner the better.

But the time savings avoided by not seeing the garbage, and the money saved by avoiding the scams, would be INCREDIBLE!

Want to know HTML, JAVASCRIPT, PHP, PERL, some of the latest technologies, etc? This is NOT the place to come.
