If you do check out this video:

http://youtu.be/XihQeZpwqpE

It's one of the most insane things I've seen. It actually gets more intense as the video goes on.

The guy is crazy. He's going to kill himself and worse probably someone else but this video really gets your adrenalin going.

LOL - Two words: Death Wish!

That's how my wife thinks I drive the car. lol

(To answer your original question, I would have to know the motorcycle rider VERY well before riding him or her.)

Sorry not impressed by idiots on motorcycles.
Besides that idiot just rides like this idiot did years ago when I had my Kaw 750 triple, so nothing new to see there.

That was pretty much what I was coming in to post. See what one little extra word can do?

I've been riding bikes for years also.

Wasn't trying to impress you. Kaw triple is a nice bike I just said the guy was crazy and it was intense just watching. I guess I'm just easily amused :-)

              Yeah it is
I know many people who have rode for years (including myself) who wish they could ride like that.
I'm getting better at it as I practice slow riding every chance I get.

That guy rides his motorcycle as if he were playing a computer game lol Only it is real life and one mistake could easily kill him! On the other hand, I was in Melbourne the other day and most taxi drivers drive the same way haha

A few years ago, while driving down the highway (in a car), a flash of green rocketed past me almost before I could tell that it was a sleek motorcycle - and I don't drive slow, myself.

It disappeared out of site very quickly and I worried about the bike rider's safety, traveling at that speed.

A few minutes down the road I got to pass HIM! As he was having a friendly chat with a police officer!

  • There is a definite lesson to be learned by this video:
DON'T OVERSLEEP! DON'T BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!

And one more: Always wear clean underwear!

I don't have a bike now, but I have been riding for a long time, and I like to ride fast - even had to eat a little gravel, but I've never been ape-@#$% to ride like that in traffic...and I see the rice rockets* do it all the time -

My sister got broadsided by one of those guys one time...he flew so far, he should have worn a cape - (put a nice dent in the door too)

I was driving in the twisties one day...and a guy came around the corner from the other way doing about 60-70 in a wheelie, and he had it sustained until he was out of sight...I think he was doing the whole canyon that way -

It's the guys that do FRONT wheelies that get me! That's outahere insane...

*Is that still PC? Am I going to incur the wrath of an Asian Biker Lobby now? :p (will I be "Linstitutionalized"?) - I can't think of a quicker term...so apologies to any biker who is easily offended - and if you are?? Ride a pony!

I never got into wheelies. I road with a guy in Fl. who raced and he was always doing front and rear wheelies, the kid had remarkable control of his motorcycle though. I was more into speed back then. I'd jump through slots in traffic like I was doing a Salomon race
I still get the need now and then, but I don't go crazy in traffic.
I got my leg wedged between the rear corner panel and rear bumper of a car once, ironically I was only going 30mph at the time (long story).
That's when I decided to even the fight a little. It's also why my current bike weights 760lbs. If a car pulls out in front of me and I t-bone it, it will know it was in a fight.

I ran into a VW once on my Indian.
I was going about 30 (I'm seeing a pattern with slow speeds:rolleyes and it pulled into traffic in front of me. I hit the rear bumper on the left side. I don't remember much after hitting them, I saw them pull out then I was putting the kickstand down on the side of the road. Only damage to the bike was bent handle bars. I'm guessing I didn't want to fly off the bike. I also had my wife on the back. She had a sore back and I had two sore shoulders, wrists, and ankles. The BW had it's bumper pushed through the fender and was embedded in the rear tire
