Hi all - obviously I am new here and I did not see a forum heading entitled insert dumb questions here... so I am hoping this won't get deleted and someone can help.

I'm just getting a started with affiliate marketing. My head is spinning with all the info and endless at that out there.

I'm confused with what to do with the WF WSO offers. So I send an approval request. I get approved. I have a hoplink to the forum thread discussing this WSO.

But what do I do with that? Am I sending traffic to the forum thread? I thought I would be directing them to a sales landing page or something? Does the hoplink provided have my affiliate info in it? Do I make my own sales page?

If anyone can give me a little insight on this I'd be very appreciative. I did look through the forum here and a lot of posts and searched even but I didn't see the info I was looking for explaining what to do. Maybe I missed it, its almost overwhelming the amount of info here! *cross eyed*

Thanks.

Cheers.

Shawn

PS - I misspelled confused in the thread title! lol. Confuded might peek some interest though.

OK. I guess everyone is "confuded" as well! lol

A hoplink going to the forum thread to ask people to buy isn't exactly what I expected for the WSO affiliate sales stuff. I would have expected a squeeze or landing page to be directed to via my affiliate link.

Are all WSO affiliate links like this? They just go to the forum thread?

    Cheers.

I'm not sure what you're asking, but if you mean that you're an affiliate for someone who is selling a product via the WSO forum, then yes, your hoplink is most likely supposed to take those who click your link to that particular WSO. You can follow your own link to the WSO and then click the buy button. If your hoplink worked you should see [ affiliate = YourClickbankID ] at the bottom of the order page.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.
