      I agree. SEO wise, I've gotten thousands of visits from FB, but dozens from Pinterest (just started though)

    The difference in audience is very big. If your target is women - go to Pinterest. But I think that Pinterest traffic doesn't compare to Facebook traffic. Just imagine, Facebook has 845 million active users!

    Not really a comparison as pinterest is just for pictures. Facebook will win that war.

    I've just signed up for pintrest, and I gotta say I'm impressed. The exclusivity of their "invite" system does make it quite appealing. But Facebook is so so so easy to use, and it's been around long enough that even my mom has an account so it is handy for keeping in touch.
