Do you see entrepreneurship as a career or a means to achieve financial freedom?

An entrepreneur, my definition... is somebody who can lead others, paving the way by which example others follow.

A natural go-getter, an individual who acts as an inspiration to other people helping them to believe individually and collectively to believe the impossible can be achieved if you put your mind to it.

Of course entrepreneurship can take different forms, it's not a term exclusively reserved for outstanding business people. Social entrepreneurs for example often work in the field of social exclusion issues and community regeneration. They can be looked upon as the strongest link in the chain by which mechanism when everyone pulls together the most pivotal decisions can be made for the good (and future growth) of the overall group.

Entrepreneurship is definitely a career and is becoming a common curriculum in schools, like University of Pheonix, etc. Depending on who you're speaking with, they may see entrepreneurship as a side opportunity if the business is not making money but it all depends on a person's foundation. A person with experience can develop their own business and still compete with the regular corporate models that are in place today. Many companies are doing just that, such as the inventor of Groupon, now publicly traded.

To me, entrepreneurship is using skills outside of the status quo to satisfy needs for the greater good.
