Something I Found Out About the Warrior Forum...
Before we begin, I've been here
awhile. I've gotten to know and
respect a lot of you. It's time to
stop playing by this forum's rules
though. Please read this letter in
it's entirety. What I have to say is
important, and I want as many people
to get my message as possible before
the inevitable ban hammer comes down
on me/this thread.
I've spent two years posting and
lurking on this forum, thinking that
it was the "right way" to go about
learning Internet Marketing. The
charade worked for a very long time.
As cliche as it may seem to say it, I
was truly hurt to find that the forum
I adored was nothing more than a lie.
A bold thing to say? Sure. I do not
make these accusations without
evidence though. I am going to have to
break every rule in the book to reveal
what I know; but it is a sacrifice
worth making. I hope that those smart
enough to heed my words spread my
message far and wide to save others
from our impending doom.
I first stumbled upon the conspiracy
when an anonymous source sent me a
foreboding PM. This member (we will
call him "Po Stobinson" because I am an
investigator, not a name creator)
claimed to me that one Paul Myers was
not who he made himself out to be.
Now, at first I was ready to shrug
this off (it being the millionth
accusation against someone's online
identity). The source provided links
though. Links to some very damning
(and irrefutable) evidence.
I couldn't just go guns blazing with
accusations though, I needed absolute
proof before confronting "the big
dog".
I set out to interview those
closest to Myers on the forum, in an
attempt to get the "real picture".
Surprisingly, few were willing to
talk. I could almost see the shifty
glances through the PMs. They knew
they were being watched, it seemed. I
assured them that Myers could not
read everyone's PMs, and that was when
the first shocker was dropped.
You see, the member moderator system
is not exactly what it has been
described as. It turns out that there
is a small group of a few hundred
members who operate under Myers and
carry out his will. That triangle next
to posts? Does absolutely nothing.
This is Myers game, and we are
playing it.
We are getting off track with this
reveal though. I knew that I wouldn't
be able to get the information that I
needed from the Warrior Forum, so I
would have to search elsewhere.
Surprisingly, I found allies in (what
I thought was) the cesspool at
*****************. Through some clever
investigation, they were able to peel
back the layers for me, and present a
terrifying picture.
Paul Myers does not exist. Instead,
it is a puppet account that is
attached with one Ken Strong. That's
right: two well known moderators, with hundreds
of shock troops at their command,
controlling every aspect of the forum, is actually just one person.
It doesn't end there though. Ken
Strong is just another pen name.
My buddies at ***************** were
able to perform an IP trace, hack the
owners webcam and (with some clever
zooming and enhancing) were able to
give me a picture of who was behind
this conspiracy. It was Matt Cutts.
You see, in a shady deal back in 2002
Google bought out the young Warrior
Forum knowing that it would someday
grow into a large gathering of
marketing minds. Given the freedom to
pick apart their algorithms, these
marketers could destroy Google's hold
on the internet. So they inserted
Cutts as a "deep cover agent" of
sorts, ensuring that the right methods
were always slapped down, that failed
tactics were praised as "hard work".
Anyone who spoke up was immediately
given a lifetime ban. As you can tell,
the plan has worked wonderfully. Over
90% of new marketers fail, and Cutts
identity was safe.
Until now. Warriors, I have put forth
an undeniable case against Google and
their attempt to stop us from making
money. They will find this post and
deal with me accordingly; but you dear
Warriors have a chance to stand up and
fight. For those of you who doubt me?
Say I don't have evidence?

To Paul Myers and Ken Strong, I hope that you don't mind being named in person for this story. Had to go with something that would give enough shock (or really :rolleyes
factor to get people to keep reading. You both have my complete respect, and if you dislike being used in the story (or the spirit of the piece in general) I will not object to it being taken down.
