      I doubt it will ever die but as stated above it will change, because everything changes eventually. What worked well for me 5 years ago does not work the same today. It makes our jobs more interesting. We have to constantly keep learning and that's a good thing in my book.

    I find it redundant to answer this question, as it looks like some sneaky fear-instilling marketing strategy.

    When internet marketing came to be, offline marketing saw a decline but it never died,
    did it? It still has its place and it will always have, just like internet marketing.

    There seems to be people on just about every internet marketing forum around saying this is dead and this doesn't work etc etc. Most of this that you read is based on theory and rumour as oppose to them actually testing and prooving it to be true or false.

    Like most others have said, this industry changes constantly so adapt and never stop learning to stay ahead of the changes.

    I do not see why it would "die". It's marketing. Business owners and marketers are going to use whatever medium or platform to advertise their products and services that they can.

    I suppose it will die when the entire Internet "dies", whenever that happens.
