I didn't watch the video yet, but.
32in rims with low profile tires has to be one of the dumbest things I've seen in a while.
All they're good for is bragging on how you got 32in. rims with low profile tires:rolleyes:

I don't get it either Bill.

But, on the other hand, my parents didn't understand the need for Mickey Thompson 50's, headers, Holley Carbs, etc. either!

  • I just wrote a little note in another thread about Kuwait making blasphemy punishable by death...

Maybe GM should think about that.

I am a car guy too, and this is like putting a blower on a Ferrari...only worse.

It's like a 4 wheel drive 240-Z I saw once...it's a freak of nature - make this go away

I know...like the Mythbusters...let's put square wheels on our car next :p

Take the wheels off, and it's a nice looking car...

(If these guys want to play with "hotwheels" just go to toys-r-us...it's cheaper, and less embarassing)

While we're on the subject of cars...one of the hardest design exercises to do is design a car from scratch that has any appeal whatsoever.

Here's an exercise I did earlier this year for an imaginary car I envisioned would be designed if the designers from Mercedes and Corvette were asked to work together circa 1980 or so. It's not great, but it does have some elements I like. And it was a fun exercise.

That looks good. What program did you use to create it?

I modeled that in Blender and rendered it in Iclone.

There's nothing 'canned' there, everything is created form scratch, so I had to design every part piece by piece. But the cool thing is once the model is made I can change all the colors and textures to anything I like and take pictures of it at angle angle using any light source I want.

I like those 32" rims on the Camaro. Everyone needs something to point at and laugh.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.
