disclose.tv domain seized by Feds

In one of these threads several days ago someone posted a video supposedly showing a UFO or UFO's. It was on http://www.disclose.tv/.

I had other things going on so I kept the tab open in my browser for days, waiting for a good time to watch it. I guess I waited too long. Today there's a notice that the site has been seized by the United States Department of Internet Security Terrorism Task Force and the European Allied Command Operations.

Hmm... maybe they had something the Feds thought was a little too good.

Go check out the warning, it's obviously meant to intimidate people.

Without visiting it did the site have a bunch of pirated shows or something or was just this alien documentary?

I don't know, that purported alien video was the only page I've ever been to on the site. I'd never heard of it before.

I'm guessing it had some pirated something, but that's just a guess. Maybe someone will pop in here that knows more about the place.

The internet security thing doesn't sound like the typical copyright infringment message that display, but i'm not that verse in such areas so I wouldn't know. I'm sure aliens exist, hard for them not to, I just hope they're friendlies

I think they exist too, but I'm not convinced they are visiting our planet.

First, "Terror Attorney". Does such a position actually exist? Second, "District Of Maryland". Is there a District Of Maryland? Third, the site features UFO videos. I really can't see any terror/alien conection myself. There's a ton of sites out there featuring UFO videos, including YouTube. Why would they single that one out?

The ATS forum is a better target for the authorities than DTV given some of the stuff on there. Some of it is thought provoking, and some of it is just plain batsh*t crazy.

Really - did you ever hear of the "U.S. Terror Attorney's Office"???

No actually I haven't. But I never heard of Czars in the US until a few years ago - and the DHS has all sorts of strange things going on. Until recently I never heard of our gov considering people who regard the Bill of Rights as "homegrown terrorist" suspects either.

When nothing makes sense anymore - everything makes sense.

When there are real sites being shut down along with legislation that will allow more sites to be taken down and for more trivial reasons, why is it so strange to think that a site might be taken down?

I'm sure there are some conspiracy theories still floating around here and there - but NOT seeing conspiracies ANYWHERE in this date and time is called DENIAL.

I found the last video on another site they had posted just before the "seizure"...something about UFO's and aliens I think.

It was 1:19. Since my attention span is only about 3 minutes today I didn't bother watching...

Heysal is RIGHT! A LOT of old knowledge is *****WORTHLESS*****! There are NEW countries, NEW government offices, etc... And NOBODY ever knew them all ANYWAY!

TV is tuvalu which is a UK possession. Tuvalu or the UK probably had preliminary control and jurisdiction.

BTW there WAS to be an internet security task force created! Remember that bill to control the internet?

The "U.S. Terror Attorney's Office" does sound kind of hokey, but then, there are a LOT of things about the gub'ment that don't seem right to me. It could just be a misstated agency name. Whoever is responsible for posting those notices surely isn't very high up in the chain of command.

I'm not convinced it's real, nor am I convinced it's fake at this point. But if I had to bet money on it I'd probably go with the hoax notion just because of that U.S. Terror Attorney's Office bit.

Well how about the part where it says its investigating the members , and host, ect

When the Gov is on your ass .... especially in the investigative stage, they generally don't announce it.

I am kinda laughing at the thought of how many people are currently
crapping them selves, and throwing their hard drives away.

Which is exactly why the Gov would not make a statement like that.

          just my 2 cents

Actually, Washington DC is sometimes called DELMARVA! MAR=MARYLAND! And a district is a political entity that can be smaller than a city, or contain parts of, and possibly whole, cities.

Looks more like the site has been hacked to me.

    Quote from abovetopsecret.com

There is no "United States Department of Internet Security Terrorism Task Force"

There is no "US Terror Attorney"

There is no "International Website Seizure Act"

Not even a "European Allied Command Operations"

    This is obviously a joke.

Notice how the "seized" domain still points to their original IP, not some redirected gov. IP? (traceroute still goes to 87.230.55.33 - ds87-230-55-33.dedicated.hosteurope.de)

There's also no such thing as a "US Terror Attorney".

Well there is another SOPA style bill coming at us and, although I haven't personally read it yet, it's supposed to be more about censorship than anything else.........so I'm thinkin'

That page is to get people's attention - and then in a day or two they will tell about how if this bill goes through it would have been a real circumstance. Right now there are people talking about the "seizure" all over the web, so they have gotten the publicity.........next comes the punchline.

April 1st a little late. Disclose.tv's calander is a little off. Maybe the clock battery in their server is running at a low voltage, or their system can't display a number 14, so they think today is April 1_, 2012.

Ooookaaay...a little paranoia going there if that's a "truth site"

Found several sites where the shutdown claims have been removed - maybe it was an extraterrestrial DDOS attack?

lol ... I believed it to be a hoax because none of the entities or the law 23 USC 981, actually exists when you Google them. But they certainly did create a ruckus in Google. The conspiracy theory site created hundreds of conspiracy theories about their takedown, some even "reporting" that 74 takedowns had recently occurred to "conspiracy theory and UFO sites".

They did have the perfect audience for this kind of hoax.
