Rashad Evans vs Jon Jones: Who Do You Want To Win?

Who do you want to win the upcoming April 21 bout between light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Rashad Evans? Jon Jones is widely considered to be a 5:1 favorite to win the bout. kind of want Rashad Evans to win the bout, not because he's a nicer guy -- Jon Jones seems nice enough, maybe nicer than Rashad -- but because I want the underdog without as many natural advantages such as greater reach to win by employing strategies that compensate for his shortcomings. For me, that would be inspirational.

Money is on Jones, Jones may be a bit cocky but understandable given his young age and being the champ pretty much decimating everyone he's fought. Evans, I don't know if there's anyone more cocky in the ufc than him. I don't see it going the full way, I see Jones finishing him via brutal KO, or straight up ass whupping then grabbing a rear naked choke .... major tension between the 2

Though it could go to decision if Evans does what he's done before and just run's around ducking and not really doing much.

Machida actually showed Jones up on his feet and could have gone to him if Machida kept picking him apart, then Jones got that takedown and opened the gash with his elbow... just never know what could happen. I think Jones needs to work on his striking and combo's but he's still young. But Machida has much better skills and striking than Evans, and remember when he completely destroyed Evans LOL

Rashad Evans has improved his skills since that ugly loss. He learns from his mistakes. Lyoto Machida was choked out by Jon Jones. Machida decisively beat Jones in the 1st round of that fight.

Evans looked like he was about to cry in the 5th round lol, he could tell he was simply out classed. Henderson is the only one that may have the chance against Jones as he has the speed and wrestling skills, as well as brutal punching power and strong legs, and won't be afraid of charging into close range of Jones. If Hendo loses, nobody is touching Jones for years to come, Machida did well until he got that gash from the elbows so wouldn't be surprised to see a rematch at some point. Machida and Hendo are the only true challengers against Jones in the LHW class, which is really the only class lacking right now. When it used to be the most active.

Well, my prediction sure turned out wrong. I think that it actually won't be so long before Jones gets defeated, but obviously my predictions aren't turning out to be so reliable. This is MMA which is very unpredictable.

Maybe Anderson Silva, if he moved up a class...

Jones is the first of a generation that grew up knowing nothing but MMA. Previous fighters had different specialties, like wrestling, martial arts, etc. Jones grew up training specifically for MMA. It will be interesting to watch this new generation.

Jon "Bones" Jones is the prototype of a Warrior.
Fast, strong, cocky and most important clever.

He has so many different weapons it's almost unfair to the rest of his weight class.

I'm just waiting for the UFC to Ban something he does just to make it fair for the the rest of his opponents.

For example like when college basketball banned dunking because Kareem Abdul Jabbar and U.C.L.A was so dominant. Then after he graduated they allowed it again.

Rashad Evans is good. But Jon Jones is on a higher level.

Jon Jones has admitted, he does innovative stuff in that cage he hasn't even seen before he does it, now that's a scary. Who can you defend against something like that?

If he loses, he will beat himself.
