RIP Greg Ham, the saxophonist and flautist for Aussie rock band Men At Work.

The body of Men at Work flautist Greg Ham, has been found in a house in Melbourne’s inner-north.

Police were called to a home in Canning Street, North Carlton soon after midday and are trying to determine the cause of the man's death.

They were notified of the body after a friend turned up at the house to check on the man's welfare.

    Jeez, not another one? He wasn't that old either was he? It would be very interesting to know what happened.

    RIP Greg.

    I'm beginning to be very glad that I never pursued my guitar lessons very far. Glad to NOT be famous.

    It appears there may be some suspicious circumstances regarding his demise. The evening news said there were forensic officers at his house, although they didn't describe it as a crime scene. So far, no more is known other than that he's dead.

    UPDATE: Late night news has now described his house as a crime scene.

    oh wow - i used to love them;

    this is quite a cluster (stars always burn out in clusters mark my words), dick clark, levon helm, greg ham, robin gibb next? ("near death")

    there was another small cluster a few weeks ago one after the other - following the cluster around whitney houston...

    RIP and ROCK ON Greg Ham.

    I loved Men At Work too. And Sal, according to the report he was my age.
    That's scary.But then again they are saying there might be foul play involved.
    I have their first 2,maybe 3 albums on Vinyl.
    This was always one of my favorites of theirs.

    And of course,that makes number 3 in the last two days I think.
