Post a picture that represents your childhood!

I was just hit with a wave of nostalgia during a conversation today which reminded me of a few things in my childhood.

These things were awesome. I do carry the guilt of having dropped a whole pack ontop of an eldery lady from the top of a multi storey car park when I was 10 year old. I remember her literally dancing as these these were banging around her. I'm going to hell for that one.

Being older, they didn't have the "safety poppers" when I was a kid.
    We had these:

Being at this age in the late 60s early 70s, All we did was sports related.
Baseball, stickball, basketball, tennis, golf, football(american),soccer(football),
Hockey and Ice skating in the winter.

Depending on what season it was, games could easily go 5-6 hours long. Then we would get on the bikes and ride to the general store, Get a coke and a huge slice of pizza for $1, Made by NY Italians.

Food and Fun times. Good stuff

Lived 2 blocks from Golden Gate Park - manmade park that you can see is running in between all the houses running in the middle of the Sunset, Richmond and Haight Ashbury districts

The whole thing was sand dunes before all that was built.

Mostly I remember peacocks screaming and buffaloes in the park - that's my house there on the upper left 7 blocks from ocean beach - (Sunset district)

Conservatory of Flowers was a neat place to go in the park

Then there was Playland at the Beach (on the right tip of the park)

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.
