incredible boat rscue i have not seen before....these people stranded did not know if they were going to be bombed next. Even so the air was plluted with thick dust, their lungs were exposed to.

      This is the thing about seafarers the world over - we look after one another. It goes with the territory. You see someone in need of help you don't think about it, you just do it. No fear. You just get on with it.

      Unrelated to 9/11 there's an old institution here in the United Kingdom called the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) it was always one of my dreams to become a lifeboat man.

      These are all unpaid volunteers who risk their lives at sea to help save other people's lives at sea.

      From my part of the country and living in a fishing community myself, this story struck home which one or two of you might appreciate...

      Also, lest we forget...

      The 29th U.S. Infantry Division left from my place of birth Trebah Gardens on the Helford River in 1944 for Dunkirk for the evacuation. Many of them sadly never to return.

      In fact, another Warrior member here (Centurion) is a present day Commander of the U.S. 29th Infantry Division.

      The anniversary is coming up in a few weeks time...
