    Been there done that...

    and...

I'm glad my visit was to the south. LOL!

Stayed for about 2 weeks in the Kentland area of London in 2011.

Left the country just after the riots began.

    - Went and took a Bath.

    - Was stoned at Stonehenge.

    - Played both sides at the Prime Meridian.

    - Spent some bucks at the palace.

    - Had to go underground several times.

    - Had Fish & Chips.

    - The Beef was Wellington.

    - Witnessed the Circus @ Piccadilly.

    - Visited Nelson at the Square.

    - Sailed the mighty Thames.

    - Learned how to tie a particular knot at the castle.

    - Been to the bridge but it did not fall down and saw lots and lots of fair ladies.

    - Ordered to the Tower.

    - Got close to the Crown Jewels.

    - Visited a world famous museum.

    - Wandered around, shopped and also had lunch at the world's largest department store.

    - Very talkative cab drivers who...

    - Traveled on wrong side of the road.

    BTW...

Many of the small towns do look like my hometown in NJ just like a high school teacher told us they would - way back in high school.

I had a great time in merry ole England and hope to return one day.

My lord. That came on TV or some DVD I was watching a few weeks ago (maybe Joy Division) when I'd had a few and I was creased laughing.

        Awesome!

I wanted to visit Sherwood forest but a guide told us that there wasn't much there except a plaque posted on a tree.
