All Forums Are The Same...Get Used To It
Over the number of years that I have been here, I have heard a number of
people complain how some of the people at this forum are nasty and rude, like
this is something peculiar to the Warrior Forum itself.
The last few months (actually since September) I have been spending a lot of
time over at a Magic the Gathering forum. I have about 1,600 posts since Sept
of last year. Yeah, it's the WF all over again.
Today, I asked a valid question about Friday Night Magic and the variance
factor, or more specifically, how much luck plays a role.
Well, today I was told that maybe my results just show that I stink, by one
person, with another person saying "What does it matter? FNM means nothing"
thus totally dismissing my only means of competitive play.
In short, a number of the members there (mostly kids I'm sure) are nasty as
hell.
There have been days that I wanted to PM a mod and just ask them to
delete my membership.
But then I remembered something.
This is forum life folks...Get used to it.
So if you come here from time to time and think that maybe some of the
members aren't all that polite, please remember that it's pretty much going
to be like this at any public forum.
In short, take it from the source whence it came and don't let it get you in
too much of a tizzy.
