    Dang it! I already sent out the invitations...now we have to cancel the venue, the caterers...geez...

    WOW, they used BIG numbers! They MUST be perfect! GEE, WE can have big numbers ALSO! We could say we will have a building built in the year 35,897! Maybe 999 googolplex years! That doesn't mean it will ever get done.

    So the "scientist" is claiming the mayan civilization will last forever and be on this planet to record the calendars FOREVER! For multiples of 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years! I believe that is 1 octillian years. Do we ever know how many days that is? Don't forget, we only adjust to 400 years. In another 1000 years, they may find they need MORE adjustments! IF, by some MIRACLE, humanity exists in a viable form for another 10,000 years, the kids may be talking about leap milleniums and all.

      But on a more serious note, the Mayan Calender does go on, but it will end in about 4 Billion years, when the earth gets fried or destroyed but our sun, which will be a red giant, by then.


      As for the prophecy part, l tend to go with Nostradamus, etc, which means that Syria, will be the main player in getting us to the brink. Or at the end of the year, because of the likely blockage, (oil supplies) because of sanctions. And the inevitable invasion of US, UN forces trying to kick him out. Then when he is in a corner, and has access to atomic missiles that can reach New York, the inevitable could happen.

      And if he launches one at the US, then the US will have no choice, but to launch an all out attack against Syria using atomic weapons, probably from subs. Then if some malfunction, or if substantial radiated clouds from the missiles, reach neighboring countries, etc.

      Well you can see, where it could go, it reminds me of "War Games" doesn't matter how you use nuclear weapons, it can run the real risk of escalating.

      If Aliens exist, this will be the most likely time they will step in, because as this thread has said, and my personnel belief, that things will continue, but if things play out this way, someone or something will need to step in to end this nonsense.

    Well, I believe in armageddon. It is like believing that the world will even end. It is just SUCH a safe bet! EVERYTHING is in place, they have money, weapons, etc... and they are gearing up big time. They are attacking everywhere, made threats, and are just WAITING for a time to strike. Who knows, maybe they have a little rule akin to one that is popular in christianity, that the world cant end until ALL have heard the message. So NOW, coincidently, like the christians have done for hundreds of years, they are spreading the message.

    If they DO do what they claim, they will have started the end o a prophecy that is effectively in 4 religions. I guess that one just hated them SO much, and the other three are related and it was such a SAFE bet. Of course ONE of the players would be SYRIA! Ideally, they want EVERY country to play a part, and they ARE working on it. This includes countries like the US and UK. Obviously, Norway is also involved. Germany is. To some that aren't seeing some of the news, or looking past things like Breivik, they may miss the pieces and think what I am saying is NONSENSE! A few years ago, I might have agreed. But breivik DID publicize, which others admitted as FACT, that this IS happening in Norway. I have heard, again fact, of several ways in which it is happening in the US and the UK. And just a couple weeks ago a news program in Germany was speaking about Arabs that have moved into germany, and live their as apparent German citizens, and are fighting for, and apparently making progress to get, SHARIA LAW!

    And NO, this isn't a dig at arabs, or even muslims, but ones that are fighting for rules that will create a situation that even most that generally disagree with me DO NOT WANT! That is what is so insidious. I would say more, but that would be deemed to political.
