I'm hooked!
Between Gibbs head slaps , Abbie, Duckie, and what I call, the "Zeva-isms".

I will start the discussion with the "elephant-in-the-room" question.

How does Gibbs get his boats out of his basement?

And, a Zeva-ism -

Zeva - "Like shoot fish in a pond."

Unfamiliar 3rd party agent - "It's, 'Like shooting fish in a barrel'."

Zeva - "What would fish be doing in a barrell?"
:p

  • I don't want to spoil your party...but after the last episode - Duckie might be a dead Duckie

And - you forgot to mention the new foil addition - Jaime Lee Curtis

    • Not spoiling the party.

Damn shame about Duckie. I'll miss him.

And, I find Jaime Lee a refreshing addition as well as a fascinating character.
(And her looks don't hurt either).
  • NCIS is a great show. How will Gibbs get the boat out of his basement?!?!?! Take it apart and reassemble it?
    • [1] reply
    • No-one knows. It's one the great mysterys that is Gibbs.
  • I would like to see a little more back-story on Abby...dat is one kinky broad
    • [1] reply
    • Yes, Abby is an enigma.
      She's kinky, maybe...
On one hand she appears to be about 15 years old emotionally.
But, then she will say, or do something that makes you think twice.
And, obviously, the dog collars and tats imply something totally different.

Her genius and her relationship with Gibbs...

  • As for the NCIS/LA crew - The thing with "G" looks like a ruse - they shot that guy in front of a camera to put him underground (and not the 6ft kind) Like the season ending of "The Mentalist" - they want it to look like G went mental...(imo)

Hetty and that new boss (Miguel Ferrer, who is very good at playing someone you hate - even if he is George Clooney's cousin) have a back-story...I always thought her character was a bit odd - but then, at 4'9, Linda Hunt has always looked for characters larger than life.

    • Doubt it. Otherwise, why Hedi's resignation? That was done with nobody around. If it's a ruse, no point to her resigning.

No, I think The Chameleon is dead. What happens to G is anybody's guess. Granted he will get out of it because I doubt the show will go on without him, but how he does needs to be seen.

  • OK. it happened.
Somehow NCIS: LA melded into the thread.
    That's cool.

Just a note for anyone who may not know.

3 or 4 days a week the USA channel shows NCIS reruns all day.
That's my default channel. That's where I get my NCIS 'fix'.
    • [1] reply

    • Ah! You needed to make that distinction NCIS will soon encompass every show on CBS - like "Law and Order" on NBC

If you want to remain 'East Coast', fine...be that way, dude, fer shure it won't be no big ting' bra...chill...we're just waiting for the release of "NCIS-Baywatch" over here anyway...

  • OK. Back on track.

I have a deep appreciation of Tony's appreciation and knowledge of old movies.
And, despite popular opinion, I think his impersonations are pretty good.
    Especially his Sean Connery.

He's a man of my own heart.

OH... he also has a GREAT interrogation technique.

I would liken Tony and Zeva's relationship to Pierce and "Hot-lips" Hoolihan on M.A.S.H.
  • And then there's McGhee and Abby...
  • wow, people really do take it seriously - i must have missed something

    • For those of you who have been watching NCIS from the beginning, if you
recall, in one episode Kate asks Gibbs "What did Ducky look like when he was
young?" Gibbs replied "like Illya Kuriakan."

That was one of those "This one's for you fans of David McCallum" moments
that just make you smile from ear to ear. I was a big Man From UNCLE fan as
a 7 year old. One of my favorite shows from back in the day. I even bought
that UNCLE toy set that had the badges and the gun and all the other
      paraphernalia that went with it.

      Anybody remember those?

  • Hello!

NCIS, great show! Yeah, how can Gibbs or anyone take a boat out of a room? Darn, that would be very hard. What a problem!
  • HMMMM....

    While doing a little research on past episodes I came across this little gem;

    • Aaanndd - what kind of research were you doing exactly?
  • I was watching an early episode of NCIS last night.
When Kate was still on the show.
It was cool to see how the characters have grown and developed over the years.
Tony's hair was longer and combed straight back. Not quite high enough to be a pompador but close. And, he was wearing a turtle-neck sweater.
McGee wasn't quite as "nerdy", and Abby wasn't quite as Goth or excitable.

    Oh...
    And I also thought I'd share this;

    • NCIS has gone through some subtle and not so subtle changes over the years.
But believe it or not, the thing that threw me the most was McGee's weight
      loss.

  • I tried to find clips of my favorite DiNozzo but they wouldn't play.

    So, here they are.

    1. When Tony turns the tables on Eli, Ziva's dad, in the interrogation and, by driving him crazy with his 'smart-ass' attitude gets Eli to admit that he assigned Rivkin to use Ziva to spy on NCIS.

    2. Tony and Ziva are posing as married assasins. Ziva takes the leader to get the CD from their hotel room leaving Tony tied to a chair with his captor left to kill him.
Tony knocks the guy down with the chair and Gibbs, Ziva and McGee enter the room, Tony's sitting on the guy kicking the sh*t out of him.

    • Ah yes, I remember them well. 1 was what, about 2 years ago? The other one
I think was around the same time. A lot of the seasons are starting to blur
      together there were so many.
  • Wellll.... you know.....
    NCIS research.
  • Hey NCIS heads,

Just FYI, there's a "Lucky Ducky" marathon going on all night tonight. Started at 4:00 pm EST.
  • OK. Trivia time.

Why did Dinozzo get kicked out Cub Scouts?

This is an easy and obvious one.
Just requires a little imagination and thinking like Tony.
    • [1] reply
    • I honestly don't remember, but knowing Tony it had something to do with
starting a fire or chasing after girls or reenacting a scene from Friday the 13th.
      • [1] reply
  • He's a big movie buff - did he reenact the movie, "Lord of the Flies"?
  • I really hope the duck man is not dead. He is an integral part of the entire team ranging from Gibbs, and all the way down to Jimmy Palmer. Who would they get to replace him that would have the kind of social interaction with the rest of the team like Ducky did? One possibility is Torri Higginson, shes been on the show a few times filling in for Ducky. Like when he was stabbed and as well as her intro role on the case where the lady was killing her husbands with the Mercury in the brain. Also somewhere in there she played a few minutes when the good DR was accused of war crimes and was seen comforting him.

As for Gibbs Boat(s). Got only knows. For the longest time I thought he just build them and took them apart and then built them again. Until the episode in the LA harbor where one washed up from Mike Franks shoot out with Col. Bells Men. So he obviously has to get them out somehow. Maybe he builds them gets everything to size. Then carrys them out and reassembles them outside piece by piece for the final construction.
  • A classic "Zeva-ism:

The team is investigating a murder on a top secret Navy ship that is not listed in the Navy logs.

Tony: This is a "black ship".
    Zeva: A "black sheep"
Tony: Yes. It means they don't exist.
Zeva: Yes they do. I've seen one.
  • Something else I should have posted early on:
(I blame it on my "half-heimers").
    The NCIS Facebook page:
    Log In | Facebook
  • In answer to the question, "Will Gibbs and Ryan ever hook up?"...
    It's a done deal.
Right before they leave Gibbs house in the morning:
Gibbs: "I think we did alright last night."
    Ryan: "Well, Practice makes perfect".
  • What does this mean for Ducky?

    From the NCIS FB page;
Brian Dietzen, who plays Jimmy Palmer, will be getting much more screen time next season after his promotion to series regular!
