So i've got a horrible time with people.
Sometimes I hate leaving my house for days.

And I've never held a job for longer than 6 months,

yet I feel I couldn't be more happy

Well, working from home has it's pros and cons, you can take a short sleep anytime plus instant access to the snacks Yea these are the two major reason why I love working from home.

Molly. First of all, I must say that I feel sorry for you.

The reason why I work from home is because I enjoy it very much and because I earn good money from it while I am my own boss.

I don't think I would have worked with something else. Maybe build a school in Africa or something, but no other "job"!

why feel sorry for me? because of who I am? I don't feel sorry for me and sure do hope nobody else does.

PTSD SUCKS, but alas, it's turned my life into awesomeness. Why? Because I can sit in front of my computer and make bank for doing what I love.

    I can relate to that.
At first it was anxiety, now it's just the realization that people are idiots and my house is a playground
I don't work much on the computer, I seem to be doing mostly small engine repair now (don't know how that happened). What's more important is I finally reached the point in my life where I only answer to myself and God and we're both fine with that

Yea, I'm slowly working on the social skills. I'm not like I was before after I had a huge revelation in my attitude and decided to change my thinking. I decided to stop playing 'the victim' and to start being 'the victor.'

But it's not like I ever had a lot of social skills to begin with. Sure, I'm good through the computer... and yeah, I can have a great time when I'm with people I consider good friends.

It's the people I'm not friends with that concerns me.

Besides that... we can't have it all. And i'd rather have one of the best designing minds for sales funnels than to be comfortable talking to the stranger in front of me at walmart.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to work for someone else. I guess some people need the security of someone telling them what they should be doing. When you work for yourself there is nobody telling you what to do when things go wrong.

For me I wouldn't have it any other way. I work when I want and on what I want. If the bills don't get paid it's my fault. If I make $20,000 over a weekend it's down to my hard work and determination.

Also, if I want to take the day off or be goofy I don't have to ask permission or worry about getting fired. Most jobs suck and i'm pretty sure that lots more people would work from home if they could figure out how.

That's not to say there aren't people who love their jobs. Not all jobs are boring and mundane. But as someone who has worked a wide variety of jobs I would say that most jobs suck.

Actually, right now, I'd love to sell my business and go work at a recording studio learning how to become a recording engineer so that I can make my own songs sound better.

They wouldn't even have to pay me. Just let me learn on the job and hone my skills.

Owning your own business isn't all roses...trust me on that.
