[FUN] Time for a WSO! Facebook Share > $9 or $49?

What an interesting, roller coaster ride for Facebook at the moment

Seems that all is not what it was lead to believe in the pre IPO documents...

So for a BIT OF FUN.. without the politics & no he could not do it anyway replies of if all, do you think that if Mark had launched a...

"Facebook Warrior Special Offer" on WarriorForum (yes we did suggest it to him!) would a single share have sold for...

$9 or $49???

Obviously the price is not including any OTO

What do you think?

    It would have sold for $9, and then someone would have repackaged it as their own and sold it for $49.

      Seems it was a WSO at $49 the refund rate would have been high as the share has just hit that SUB $30 mark, the one that follows with the SUB $25 price!

      FB shares and in all honesty, anyone connected to it, seem to be in for a rough ride!

    I'm still thinking that those that are holding it are in for a pleasant surprise. Once they plow through their problems and come out with the first facebook phone, the stock will probably skyrocket.

    In my opinion it is a $10 stock. But it will probably settle at the $17 to $25 range. Unless they make some progress in the mobile arena I expect it to stay at that range for quite some time.

      G, that is an interesting thought.. guess you may be right as the big G stock went from 300 to 450ish on similar news

      Flow, with you there (in some ways, wish it would not happen!) at $10, so therefore a $9 WSO with no upsell is winning!!!

      Noticed FB was 10c away from going sub $26, the head shrink level is $25, if it hits that this week on the NASDAQ, she will be going down...

      Not even close - their revenue for the first quarter was 1.18 billion dollars. Now would be the absolute dumbest time to dump the stock.

        Remember though this is a fun, would it have sold as a WSO for $49 (the original money makers ipo price) OR $9 (the predicted if the ipo was done at this price it would be much higher concept)

        Keeping it fun and simple, the price of $9 is now MUCH closer as a WSO sell price, we are not saying the shares are worth more or less, but that IF they had have launched at $9+ things would look a bit rosier for them over at FBHQ!

        So why do we think the WSO should have been $9 and not $49... bearing in mind we have FB stock

        1# - The full social news side of it > Facebook shares fall as it reports... - spot the positive!

        2# - A few obvious issues with core income/profit potential released data!

        So simply put, FB has now, due to the introduction of the worst untested social media gaff in the history of the web... Timelines, got to *keep* looking/reinventing/trying to find a way to get back the advertisers, big brands and real (not bot!) FB users & companies it had before Timeline.

        We hope Marky Mark pulls it around, but as can be seen with all the crap-o-la with the banks/finance/oh crap where is my cash gone, going on in the world, it is going to be a close call...

        So a $9 share FB WSO is winning this fun thread at the mo...

    Just to keep the fun going and in answer to some emails and PM's we got about this thread!

    The idea was to see if Mark Z, had have launched the Facebook shares as a WSO, what would he have charged and what would be a good "Price"

    As the shares get closer and closer to our $9 bottom end share price, it seems we are getting closer and closer to what they "Should" have been sold for as a WSO, the top end and higher $49 WSO price, seems to be getting further and further away...

    So any input as to where the share $ should be, maybe from some shareholders who have bought into the shares at $38+ and are thinking is now the time to sell out the losses??
