The Cherry Festival
Hello and welcome to the weekend. I will mostly be consuming wine and cherries over the next 48hrs, because right here where I live the annual cherry festival has just begun.
Here in the Pyrenees, Ceret boasts the first ripe cherries of France. Something to do with the warm air from the med being funneled down through the valley by the mountains and into what we call the last valley in France.
I love love living here mainly because of the natural peace and the weather. The UK was such a damp cold place to be.
