Reply box is a hideous grey?

Since this is also like this on my laptop I'm assuming this is the same for everyone?

The reply box is now grey?

I'm sure it was originally white or the Absinthe I had last night is stronger than anticipated!

    • It's kind of important since people who are creating threads rich in graphics tend to preview them in the window without needing to resort to "Preview Post". Sure people can work around it, but it's not too practical. The background of the reply box should match the background of the thread. Font too if I'm being picky which has also changed. It does look like an error has occured rather than it being an intended change.

      I wouldn't give it a second though otherwise.

    • It's white for me too. I understand it's only gray for members who are close to being banned, kind of an early warning system.

      Yeah, just kidding. Maybe it's been changed back since Jody and I both see white. I never did see gray.

  • Mine was grey earlier but is now back to off white.
  • Mine is grey too and I hate it. Only because it doesn't look right. It doesn't actually affect me but why change it? Once it is posted it goes white anyway so what's the point?

  • I just checked out FF - it's grey.
  • Yup, gray in FF. It's official now, Firefox is whacked. I swear that browser has been getting worse and worse with each new version for a while now. So much so that I quit using it as my main browser and just use it for certain things.
  • Yep, I've never used FF despite all the acclaim it got/gets.
    But in Chrome and IE it's white.

      Come on, we're supposed to be marketers. Let's at least try to rebrand it as "morning mist" or "silken shadow".

      But seriously, since I updated to the latest FF version, it has been acting up. There was a long thread upstairs about PayPal earlier today (now deleted) that FF wouldn't let me get past page 3 on. Had to read the rest of it in IE.

      Ho hum.

  • The colour is dependent of which "editor mode" you are in, try switching editor (top right of box A/A) mode to see.

  • I did not like the gray or the font, either, but clicking the "edit" choice turned me white once again! I was going to test that before responding here anyway.

    By the way, I use FireFox and am happy with it for the most part. (Better than my former IE.)
