Knee jerks

It is very surprising to me that so many posts related to internet marketing and requests for help are greeted with simple knee jerk reactions.

It seems that there is a mantra that must be performed in response to any question and it is nearly always a guru produced ebook stanza that forms the mantra.

Don't internet marketers have opinions of their own or is it that they are so inarticulate that they must even copy and paste in response to forum posts?

Ebooks are expanding in number exponentially but there are still many more internet marketers than there are ebooks so why this uniformity?

I am very grateful to those minority warriors who have actually walked the walk and share their own, individual ideas and opinions.

  • Art - a lot of ebooks are not written by the people promoting them but are just hashed over resell rights pieces that others copy and paste because they are hoping to make a business from selling them. They will use any opportunity to promote rather than to help.

If you look again, you will find those who create their own products are much more willing to actually get in there and help the genuinely confused person when a question falls into their own realm of expertise. All other answers are just the followers hoping to scratch a dime from an opening that they can squeeze off some promotion without getting slapped for spamming the forum and don't always know the subject well enough to offer their own fresh, individual point of view.
  • Hi, Sal,

It isn't simply the copy and paste responses I find so disagreeable, it is the fact that they will not read and respond to what has been posted, simply reply to the original post.

There are many posts that I have made that, in my brutally truthful manner of writing, require that they be addressed and either agreed with or rejected but it seems that forum streams are no longer read and contributions are no longer taken into account while formulating another response.

I find that, no matter how different my own ideas might be, the ebook mantras are still performed as though I and all the other contributors had said nothing.

Effectively, these forums are turning into notice boards with everybody pinning their own little notice on them, regardless of prior content.
