Dear Allen /Warriorforum Mods ,

I have made a thread on "Warriors for hire " earlier today , and i got pm from Allen that my thread is approved and i need to pay for it and i have done the payment too and saw the thread live , but i edit the thread once , and when i clicked save , it showed me "invalid thread..bla bla...notify the admin" ,which means the thread have been removed...less than 5 minutes after payment , well the thread suits your forums rules and is been reviewed by allen already that he asked for payment to get the thread live , so it's a perfect thread but it's been removed in less than 5 minutes after payment ? ? ?

i am not against the forum , but just letting you know ,please refund or make my thread alive..

Thanks.

You joined the WF to run an ad. Chances are it was the edit that caused a problem - could be it flagged the ad. Could be whatever you edited was against the rules - don't know.

Telling us doesn't help you - use the "help desk" link in the red toolbar and ask what the problem is.

Assuming it is a "scam" is ridiculous - and not good advertising for you

If I were the kind to jump to conclusions about a scam, as the OP did, I'd wonder if it was the OP trying to scam the Warriors. Think about it ... you created an ad, and then as soon as it's approved you change it. That seems more suspicious to me than the Forum withdrawing an edited ad. Maybe they just need to see what your edit is.

I'm not suggesting you did anything bad, but that if you were a scammer you could have, and they're protecting themselves and the members. As Kay said, check with the Help Desk to find out what's going on. Whining in public doesn't help you, we can't do anything about it.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

I agree with both Kay and Dennis.
Pretty suspect in my opinion, but either way, the Off Topic Forum has no hand in any of this,so why post here? You should ,as common sense dictates,go to the helpdesk.

I deleted that. I also let Allen know it needed refunded. Given that it was deleted on a Sunday morning, I'm not surprised you haven't received the refund yet.

It's a "forum posting" service, meaning "forum spam," which is bad enough. You also made promises in that offer which you cannot fulfill. Specifically, that the posts would never be deleted as spam.

I can tell you that the linking pattern you describe as part of your service triggers the deletion of hundreds of posts from this forum every day. I would be hard pressed to believe we're the only people who ever spot that stuff.

Edit: BTW, for anyone who may be interested...

The person who approved that post thought it was a service for posting in new forums, to help them get off the ground. Services that post to sites at the request of the owners of the sites are allowed here.
