HELP! My WF account has been hacked and tech support isnt working either!!

Just tried to log in after a few months of being away from the forum.

Got this message

"You have been banned for the following reason:
Your account has been hacked - Please contact WF Helpdesk!"

I went to the help desk and entered the ticket details at least 50 times and kept getting

"CAPTCHA phrase does not match."

So as a last ditch effort I created a new account name to try and reach SOMEONE.

My account name that has been hacked is: TheSalesTechnician

      Don't try to register at the Help Desk. Just go straight to submit a ticket and you shouldn't have any difficulty.

        Thanks Tina, This is how I have been doing it. Clicking on "submit a ticket" not entering info first.

      I put in a ticket and pointed Thomas to this thread. Not sure if he's around now or not, but he usually fixes things up really fast.

    Yes, your account was compromised. Someone got your password and was using it to send massive amounts of spam via PMs.

    Do a serious check of your computer before you log back into the original account. Make sure you're not harboring malware that will just hand the account back over to the spammer.

      Thanks Paul. I have ran multiple virus scans and malware/adware scans over the last several months since I last logged in.

      When will I have access to this account again? Still cant log in.

        When Thomas resets your password and lifts the ban, which will happen after you contact him through the help desk.

        Don't pick easy passwords, and never use the same password on more than one site.

          Paul thanks but Unfortunately as I stated above Im not able to use the helpdesk at all. Cant login, cant simply submit a ticket (without logging in)...nothing.

          Thats why I made this post.

    If you can't access the helpdesk you probably have a problem with your OS,browser (try a different one) or as mentioned before,a compromised system. You said you have used "multiple virus scans and malware/adware scans over the last several months " ,but you didn't say which ones.
    Did you try this one?

    John,

    The help desk (center link at the top of every page here) works. You do not have to be logged into the forum to use it.

    I have changed the password to that account and lifted the ban. Use the lost password feature to get that sent to the email account you used when you registered.
