Windows 8 is definitely a step in the right direction for Microsoft. First time users might find it difficult to navigate the menu system at first since it's different from the previous Windows versions but you'll get used to it eventually.

Mobile inspired Desktops are so-so.

GNOME Shell is a mobile inspired desktop that I love but I hate Unity, another mobile inspired desktop.

Lets see how Win 8 does, but I'm a big fan of classic window managers like dwm.

I still haven't tried it. Just hope it's as good as people expect it to be.

I listening best things about that Window 8 and its more advanced features. I am planing to installed this operating system in to my laptop for the better use and feel more reliability with having user friendly environment.
