One of my favorite phrases: "Lies, damned lies, and statistics"; springs to mind!

Horace Bartholomew Schmidt suggests plaid clothes as a solution for headaches, back pain, depression, and political disparities in Michigan.

      What Kim?

The water in Virginia doesn't teach you how to use anatomically correct words?

      Sorry, but I couldn't resist! :p

    Terra,
No, it seems you have one person that does know how,it was the rest of your legislators that seemed doomed to madness. I have no issue using the word vagina,or for that matter ,penis.

Why do I get an article about which coffee Republicans prefer when I click that link, Kim?

I know the issue you are talking about though. Isn't it strange that they get all freaked out over a woman using the word "vagina" -- but they have no problem when men use the words transvaginal utlrasound.

Then they refuse to let her speak? WTF is THAT? Every person that woman represents should be suing those dumbf**ks blind. Once they are sued broke - recall their butts.

Why are people allowing these kinds of idiots sit in gov offices? When I lived in the state the lawn at Lansing (capitol) would have been shoulder to shoulder protesters for this kind of idiocy.

    • Boy - I'm glad they compiled a list of the places Republicans and Democrats go to eat...so I can avoid those places...:p

'Buyology' my...besides, Wisconsin is probably getting their water shipped up from Florida...no telling WHATS in that stuff!

There was a 'Food Psychologist on the Discovery Channel yesterday, and he was conducting the usual psychological taste tests...he took some cheap "box" wine, and put it into 2 bottles - 1 w/fancy label - 1 w/cheap label
Even after tasting the "Fancy" wine last...they all agreed it was MUCH better!

In fact! many even refused to believe it came from the box!

For TV shows, it was probably "Big Bang Theory" for Dems - and "Matlock" for Repubs :p

While I saw that show,I found that part the least interesting....probably the most interesting to me was watching the people on cell phones that were totally oblivious to what was going on around them.

Oh,and about the wine, I think most wine drinkers would fall into the same are as those that were on the shoe....it costs $20 a glass so it MUST be good.

THAT was crazy! I did not think people could be that OBLIVIOUS while on a cell phone, that they did not notice a Clown on a unicycle coming at them???

One guy tried to counter with, "oh...well if it had been a pretty girl" - he didn't even look! How would he know???:p

That 'Buyology' report says "Subway" is the favorite GOP fast food...I wonder...you know that guy from Subway the other day who called 911 to complain about his sandwich?

That was probably the funniest moment on the show.

On a different note, it was very interesting how big a difference went when a woman was wearing a white dress and a red dress!
Personally, I thought she was attractive and would have looked with either dress. But then,I may just be a dirty old man.

I was thinking the same thing - she looked good in either dress

It was amazing though, when she started 'bumming bucks', how much more she got in red! - or the impact red also had on the choice of boxers...all psychology...:p (how come the 'Redcoats' lost the revolution? Oh yeah - easier targets - doesn't apply in gun battles! :p)

I'm thinking a whole lot of Fluoride in Michigan's water.
"Fluoride, dumbing down smart people for 60 years"

I would of loved to take that wine test
When I went to college for culinary, one class spent one semester just studying (read drinking) wine from around the world. For every wine producing country we started with their cheapest and progressed to their best. Probably the most interesting and educational class I took getting that degree. Only 2 expensive wines I drank did I like, both where sauternes. The most expensive wine I drank was a Rothschild and though I understand why it was expensive and why many consider it the top of the wines, I'd rather a $30 bottle of almost any Auslese instead

And just to screw with your last statement, I love the Big Bang Theory and I'm a Libertarian

Well, to be fair, there is only fluoride in city or treated water. Homes with their own wells, don't have fluoride treated water at all.

Oh shucks! I should have just kept my mouth shut so you all would think that as smart as I am, I'd be a freakin' genius, if I wouldn't have drank the water.

          Hahahaha! :p

So you're just saying Brown and a few others in your House and Senate drink well water and the others drink 'city' water, that's all
Kinda explains Washington, all they got there is city water
