Here in Australia we have this terribly vicious dog ...

... the short-legged, long-nosed bare-skinned hound

Now Bazza had heard about this legend and didn`t
think it would worry his hunting dog ... Chunk

Bazza went searching and heard there was a couple
up in NQ (North Queensland) still so off he goes ...
as Kickatinalong isn`t on the map he knew it was
gonna be tough.

Anyway, after months of false leads, wrong turns and
way to many pubs in every QLD town ... Bazza finally
tracks down the alleged owner of two of the finest
specimens alive ... so the legend goes anyway.

Bazza meets with this man ... Gazza ... and yes he
does in fact own two very cantankerous short-legged,
long-nosed bare-skinned hounds ... so Bazza lays down
the challenge ...

"Ya wanna `avago mate!?" says Bazza

"Yeah I`ll `avago ... mate!!" says Gazza

"Roight then! My dog Chunk will clean up your mutt
quicker than meatants on a cut toadfish ... mate!" says Bazza

"... yeah roight! maaaaaaaaaaate ... ya can throw ya
mutt in the pen with the most cantankerous one so it`s
a quick kill ... her name is Petal" says Gazza. "Ya
can`t go in the pen though ... unless your the main
course"

After rolling about the ground laughing at the dog`s
name for ten minutes, Bazza jumps up and agrees.

Gazza said he`d open the gate for 3 seconds only
as he didn`t feel like being dessert ... off they go
to the enclosure where Petal lives.

16 foot solid concrete walls ... Bazza was told anything
shorter, Petal gets out ... and mesh fence was like trying
to pen wild buffalo with spiderwebs.

Gazza is ready ... Bazza is ready ... Chunk is more than ready!

The gate opens and Chunk flies in growling and barking
hysterically ... then what could be only described as a
terror-filled yelp ... cutoff halfway through ... then the
sound of crunching bones

Bazza was stunned beyond belief. He knew his best mate
in the whole world was now ... gone ... all in less than 20
seconds. How could this happen to a 270 pound lion killer?

"Geeeeeez that took awhile ... ... must be a tad cool" says Gazza

"What the $#@!? Took awhile!?? Crikey ... ya gotta tell
me all ya know about this breed and tell me how to get one!" says Bazza

"Well I don`t know to much about the short-legged,
long-nosed bare-skinned hound" ... says Gazza

"We usually call `em crocodiles tho ... maaaaate"

Glad we don't have them crocs up here... our teddy bears are scared of their own shadows, and the cougars/bobcats/lynx are like cute kitty cats compared to your crocs...

However, they did just re-introduce wolves a bit further north in Canada, and they are now showing up here in packs... not good... cattle are slowly starting to dissapear...

Are there any efforts stopping your crocs from moving further south?
