Actually, it's all those flocking Canadian Geese that frightens us Canadians the most! Now you know why Canadian Mounties wear those wide-brimmed hats!

Okay ... here are two true stories. I didn't give these a thought until you started this thread.

We live within town limits, but on the outskirts where we live we still have plenty of forest. We see many wild birds and animals on our property.

Two days ago, first the first time in many months (since last winter) we met a big moose coming out of the bush just down the road from us! But he wasn't scary. He was very polite as he waited for our vehicle to pass before he crossed the road. Most deer and moose try their hardest to jump in front of vehicles!

And also two days ago, my spouse and I were in the mood for BACON! Actually, the first time in years. I didn't get the connection between that wanton desire and this being Canada Day weekend until you started this topic thread!
