google email advertising

Hi,

Google excells in waffle.

Please can anyone advise (a list of bullet points perhaps) how I can stop all ads to my gmail email account?

There seem to be opt-ins, opt-outs for personal prefs, greneral prefs, and heaven knows what sh*te. :confused:

  • If they are anything like the other free providers you have to pay a small subscription because if they lose the revenue by not blasting ads to you how else can they make money, so I doubt there is any way to turn it off without paying.

    I think it is worth putting up with or your own domain name email would be cheaper than most subscriptions.
