No they never send same item as show on websites...so it is risky...

I agree Steve, it is cool, when l am in a shop and some poor soul is buying something l can get online for a third of the price, l feel like getting the salesman out of the way and letting them know!

Last thing l got was a back battery cover, for my Wii control, (don't seem to exist in shops) from China for a measly $1.50.

Should get it in a week or two, then my remote that came with the Wii console, and had the annoying rechargeable battery's, (that cannot be removed) on the cover, will use standard battery's!

      Sweet

Online shopping has it's advantage and disadvantage. With online shopping you have all the time you need to choose no need for assistance all the information about the product is posted for the disadvantage you cannot get it right away unless the seller is near your place. Or if the product is broken or not properly working it will take time before you can ask for an exchange. On the other hand traditional shopping is more fun because you can touch the object or the product you can ask for sizes, and especially you can check if there is damage. Both has it's own advantage and disadvantage you can shop online or the traditional way. It's up to you..

I have mixed feeling about this. I sell online and I shop online, so obviously I like it. On the other hand, if everyone shopped online a lot of local stores could go out of business, taking down jobs with them. You're sending your money out of your local area when you shop online. It reminds me of a business moving its factories out of the country ... jobs and money go with them.

Maybe we should just keep this "internet thing" our little secret.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

I really like online shopping. I don't need to leave my house, and that is key! Amazon, ebay, zappos, nextag, all of them are great. My girlfriend got me into online shopping actually haha I do have to agree that online shopping has a much higher possibility of being cheaper, there's more room to explore the internet and find what you want for cheaper.

Haven't tried Amazon? l tend to go for Ebay when shopping, and usually find what l want there.

I was able to get Super Mario Galaxy, (brand new) for $35 AU, on Ebay, usually $50 in the shops or more, (when it was available, can't seem to find a copy in the shops, at the moment?

        • About six months ago I changed my ecommerce site's policy to disallow phone ordering. The reason was that after spending 30 minutes on the phone to process a $25 order, the authorization invariably failed. (My favorite customer comment: "Oh, they told me at the bank I was over my credit limit but that just can't be true.")

Lady calls from DC this morning, insists on placing phone order. I explained we don't do that any more. "We're not allowed to order online from work." She was calling from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Nice to know there's one federal agency that is at least trying to avoid the appearance of impropriety.
