I keep having an address like that trying to load when I come to WF, is this suspicious or nothing to worry over?

  • cdn = content delivery network. It's for caching images & static content.

I didnt think it was a big deal...but Paul Myers warned us of a phishing thing last year where people using fake WF pages to scam us...

    Thanks for the answer.

    • No problem, it's nothing to worry about.
  • John, you can double check here to make sure somebody didn't hijack your DNS: DNS Changer Check-Up - Clean

  • Wow! Cool GF! Thanks! Bookmarked.
  • John, the last part before the .com (or whatever the domain extension) is always the domain, so in that address you gave it's warriorforum so it's correct. The cdn in this address is a sub-domain.

A sub-domain is always before the domain name, separated by a dot (cdn.warriorforum). When a sub-domain is used there will never be a "www" in the address. If it were a directory (folder) the cdn would come after the .com, as in warriorforum.com/cdn/

More than you wanted to know, probably, but there you go.

    • I thanked him for you John!

    • You being here is thanks enough, my friend.

When it comes to the thanks I don't worry about it. I've probably gotten some I didn't deserve, so like they say about bad officiating calls in sports, it all evens out.
