Awesome, good to see you. The important aspect of joining is "getting started".

With all the sage advice here on this forum there is with it some difficulty, and that is
"information overload". There is so much knowledge here and the shiny objects can be overwhelming.

The best advice I can offer going forward is select something you like and enjoy or are related to your chosen profession if you have one. This makes communicating, writing, and communicating easier.

Look around and chat, there are a lot of people who are interested in helping you succeed in whatever you you wish to do. From offline stuff, to Adsense, to Amazon, to Fiver, writing, just about anything you want to do I am sure someone here has been down that road and willing to help.

As a suggestion, if you have not already done so, then do try and join the War Room as soon as possible. There is an incredible amount of useful information there.

Other than that, as long as you make good use of the search function, you will find lots of very informative posts here in the main discussion forum as well.

And do not forget to trawl through the the various sub forums also.

Also, don't get overload with information. Just pick one method/ WSO that you like and implement it immediately. Learn quickly and make the first sales as soon as possible. Learning by doing.

Welcome to the WF!

This is a great forum, full of great advice (although you have to know how to distinguish between the great advice and the not-so-great!).

The best advice I can give you is to find a simple IM method which fits your existing skills, and test it, then ask for advice on how to improve specific aspects (such as traffic, monetization, webdesign or whatever). It's easy enough to do this for free if you want (see my signature, for my list which gives free advice on free IM methods, as well as other useful IM stuff), and you'll learn the most from taking some action as soon as you can.

As I say, find a method which fits your existing skills. So for example, unless you are one of those people who naturally can persuade anyone to do anything, then copywriting will be a challenge, so don't start off with a method which requires it (such as by trying to sell your own ebook). Be honest with yourself, and see it as a POSITIVE feature, that your current skills and personality will limit your options, that really makes it EASIER to choose a method to start with. Later you can outsource any skills you lack, or learn more detailed skills, but much better to, learn the basics of IM first, in practice, make some money and learn how things work.

welcome to the WF, im fairly new here as well. you'll learn a lot from this place. two quick tips i found that are helpful, if you have a question....search for it, usually you can find your answer instead of starting a new thread. works for me everytime. the second, is to take action, all the stuff on WF is useless until you actually use it.
