Favorite Artists / Bands?

Hey Warriors!

As you can tell my by username, I'm a huge fan of Alanis Morissette. This is my first post and I'm just curious as to whether or not there are any other fans of hers on the forum.

I'm into internet marketing and particularly the CPA side of things. You'll probably see me around the forum in that sense.

So warriors, which bands/artists/songs are you into right now? I'm curious!

& if you haven't heard Alanis in awhile or you're new to her completely, check her out! There will surely be some 90's nostalgia for a few of ya!

    I have jagged little pile with ironic, one hand in my pocket and you oughta know.. Old disc. Has she made anything since that time?

    Bon Jovi rocks for me!
    I like almost every song they have made. Also Jon Bon Jovi himself are very cool

      I like almost every song they have made. Also Jon Bon Jovi himself are very cool
      Jagged Little Pill was her first album, and her biggest one at that! So many hits, it was incredible. She seems to be the "Adele" of the 90's haha. She's produced several albums since then, and you'd probably recognize some of her newer songs and just not put two and two together.

      Here are a couple of her songs throughout the past 12 years or so of which I enjoy most:

      -- 2002
      -- 2000
      -- 2007

      Take a listen if you've got some free time and let me know what you think. A lot of people feel as though her music has diminished since her 90's JLP album but I think of her as simply "evolved". I love all of her stuff.

      I'm a big Bon Jovi fan myself! Everything they put out is gold. Even some of their newer stuff throughout the past 4 years or so. Love them!

    i used to be into alanis back in highschool....

    as far as fav artists..i have alot..but as of lately ive been listening to alot kid cuddi, tech n9ne and dubstep mixes.

      That seems to be the case with a ton of people. It's a shame a lot of her fans seemed to drift off when she decided to evolve her styles.

      I like a bit of dubstep every once in awhile! It's all about keeping it in the correct doses for me personally.

      Yeh I really like Nirvana and lots of other subpop bands from the early 90s. I was fortunate to see Nirvana on the Gold Coast in 1991 supported by The Violent Femmes (another fave)
      I also love lots of 70s and 80s stuff like Velvet Underground, Tom Waits, Iggy Pop, and Aussie Rock

      Awesome picks, Linda! Nothing better than a little MOTOWN! :] - "All In Love Is Fair" is probably my favorite Stevie Wonder song let alone one of my favorite songs in general.
