My great grandfather learned of a Chinese remedy for joint pain that was very effective and went on to sell it as a travelling salesman and marketer. To highlight the benefits of this remedy, he employed actors to display the symptoms of ailments in front of crowds watching the demonstration then become cured upon application of the remedy.       You can find it in Chinese medicine shops. Ironically, it is effective. The campaign that made "snake oil" synonymous with quackery and shysters was started by jealous rival sales representatives of less effective products. My great grandfather actually made a fortune peddling elixirs and magic pills of one kind or another, pretty much door-to-door and this paved the way for my grandfather to live a wonderful playboy lifestyle and squander the hard-earned fortune. Considering that a mere sneeze can alter which sperm gets to the egg first, my father would not have been born if my grandfather had been any different and I wouldn't exist today to start ridiculous threads on the Internet for you to read (lucky you).

      I was in Saudi Arabia for a stint. Saudi Arabia isn't a tourist zone, but it is a spectacular place to travel. See as much of it as you can.
