"Thanks" Button Disappeared.. Because Of Jack Duncan

LOL... It's not really Jack's fault . Let me explain.

I was reading on all of Jack's posts today, wanted to thank him or other warriors who has contributed so much to the forum, for their great posts being shared.

I think I've given around 20 "thanks" to Jack and few other warriors, today alone. When I try to move on to another post, after reading, trying to give a "thank" on Jack, I found out that my "thanks" button had disappeared.

Don't know if there is any limit per day that you can drop a "thanks" to any posts. Anyone of you in here having similar experience ?

      I believe what Aiden meant was that he can't Thank anyone because his
      Thanks button to thank other people is now gone.

      Aiden, I've had that happen too me in the past while thanking people for
      their inputs to one of my threads.

      I not sure what the daily limit or time delay limit is but it will return.

    Yes -- not sure what the limit is, but if your "Thanks" button goes away, you know you've exceeded it for that day.

    Thanks for the reply, thanks for your concern. FYI, I would like to test that out, before submitting a support ticket to the help desk. That is why I tried to post this out, and asked for some word from warriors, but embarrassingly posted on the wrong forum as Michael mentioned. Sorry bout that.

    Oh, I have done the test the other day, and there is indeed a daily limitation on the number of times that you can "thank" a person.

    It's 20 times per day.

    Yes, You can set that limit from the vB admin panel.

    Probably Allen has set it to 20 (Maybe to avoid abuse?)

    Funnily enough, I started to notice recently, that some of the "big names" and some others with very high post counts on this forum hardly ever thank others.

    Perhaps they are above it and already know everything...
