GOOD SAMARITANS USE CAUTION

A FEW DAYS AGO A MAN WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK,
AND HE SAW A PICK UP STALLED IN TRAFFIC. HE GOT OUT AND
OFFERED TO HELP PUSH THE TRUCK TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD.

AS HE WAS STANDING BETWEEN HIS CAR AND THE TRUCK, A DRUNK
DRIVER SMASHED INTO THE REAR OF HIS CAR, AND HE WAS CRUSHED
BETWEEN BOTH VEHICLES.

THE IMPACT CUT OFF BOTH OF HIS LEGS. AS HE WAS BLEEDING ON THE
STREET, THE PICK-UP, WITH THREE MALES INSIDE, DROVE AWAY LEAVING HIM TO DIE.

THE DRUNK DRIVER DID REMAIN AT THE SCENE AND CALLED 911, AND
THIS MAN'S LIFE WAS SAVED.

POLICE FOUND THE PICK-UP PARKED ABOUT A MILE AWAY, AND IT WAS
A REPORTED STOLEN VEHICLE. THE THREE MALES HAD JUST STOLEN THE TRUCK, AND WERE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE STICK SHIFT.

AFTER A FEW DAYS IN INTENSIVE CARE, THIS MAN TOLD HIS WIFE,
" HONEY THEY TOOK OFF BOTH OF MY LEGS, BUT I STILL HAVE TWO ARMS TO HOLD YOU. "

LESSON TO BE LEARNED, " BE CAREFULL WHO YOU TRY TO HELP! "

  • MAN! I hope they do something REALLY bad to those thieves! It will NEVER happen, in the US, but I hope it does.

    And what about the DRUNK? I hope he gets the book thrown at him. He could maybe get 15 years in jail. AGAIN, since he was drunk, ironically, you'll be lucky if he sees a year.

    • Yeah thats the part that grinds me too. Our country is just about the most sissyfied, panzyazz when it comes to criminal punishment.

      To me its become about as laughable as "political correctness" ....too much trying to focus on making the punishment fit the crime and deciding whats "fair" for the purpetrator.

      What a complete waste of time.

      How bout focusing on whats fair for the victims, and for the safety of society.

      I'll tell you whats "fair" ....is a punishment that is so ungodly harsh it dissapates any motivation or desire to even attempt to try to get away with a crime in the first place.

      A concerted and aggressive effort to make crime go away as much as possible...now THATS fair.

      ...and then if you STILL INSIST ON ATTEMPTING A CRIME...then your just bonified stupid, or a NutJob and should, either way, be escorted off the planet post haste.

      Y'know...in all fairness to the rest of us.

      But hey, when it comes to criminals...I realize I'm kind of a heartless, no empathy having, sort

      Especially when it comes to people who drink and drive.

    I had no idea that all caps is shouting. My eyesight is getting bad and all
    caps help me read the text better.
