Mars Curiosity Images, Is The Sky Red or Blue???

Some the the latest photos from Curiosity, there seems to be a big difference to the sky color? :confused:

It shows a big difference to the sky color!!!


Even if this was another Mars photo, although it looks like the crater it was aiming for, it still raises the question, why don't we see mars photos like this with a relatively blue sky, instead of the red sky photos only???

Something fishy here :confused:

      Yeah, LOL :rolleyes:. In a couple of days, after they have had a chance to Photoshop the background image and take the red tint away from the Curiosity Rover, then we will see a better image of Mars?

      At the moment, we are just getting a side camera photo, of mars and apparently, the NASA scientists are getting a true color photo with the main camera!

      Can't wait for the day when China, Russia or an independent individual, (remotely speaking) goes to Mars and shows us what is really there!

      The Russians have been sending stuff to Mars for the better part of 50 years but release almost nothing in English to the public (why would they, I suppose!). However, they were the first to send a picture back from Mars.

        Yeah, l think that the issue is and was that when viking landed and gave us the blue sky, before NASA said that their instruments were off, and make it red, is probably political!

        Some small minded politician, or someone from area 51, probably because of what they found, etc thought that making the sky red, was a good idea.

        Now, almost 50 years later, the current scientists have to lie to the general public, and dance around the true images.

        But as l have shown, they do slip up, and we can get a glimpse of Mars true color.

          Why do people have to always "vandelize" (A Buzz Aldrin word) the accomplishments of others?

          I've seen pictures of the Earth's sky. Sometimes they show a brilliant blue sky. Other times the sky appears to be orange and red and at other times it's black. Conspiracy!

          Seriously, you don't think a bunch of rocket scientists aren't smart enough to Photoshop a picture correctly if they had a need?

            That is a fair point, but if you look over 4 or 5 years of Previous Mars rover color footage, it is always red or light blue at sunset, never sky blue during the day!!!

        The big deal is its another effing planet, the only one that we can hope to colonize in the near future.

          Yes, and no!

          But you are right the chances of us landing Viking and finding green stuff growing on the rocks, and an Earth like sky and atmosphere is just as plausible as landing there and finding what we supposedly ended up with!

          I mean even with an eccentric orbit it is still close enough, to support life!

          I suppose what it all boils down to is believing current textbooks, NASA, and social media, so the snug in our beds philosophy, is possible.

          And somehow ignoring, Hubble images, old books also showing a thick, blue Martian atmosphere, and all the evidence here instead!

          I didn't even mention the fact that we would only see a black sky if Mars surface was 1% of ours, or it would be moon like!


          It is hard to grasp another Earth like planet, closeby; even harder to grasp that it has intelligent life on it as we speak.

          But that is where the trail of conflicting NASA evidence is heading!

    I watched a news program, and it was NOT FOX, and they DID mention that they published it after "correcting the color". They didn't clarify or anything.

      Phew, well the image l saw was actually the computer simulation of Mars, in the main control center but....

      You can get a glimpse of a video they took, on the way down, that is full color, in another room.

      You can take a look at the video here...

      But, make it quick, the video seems to freeze at this point, so someone may be trying to remove this part?

      Thankfully l took an image, so who cares what they do! :rolleyes:

      The first one shows how far in to the video you need to go to take a look, and the second magnifier's it!

      Considering that the first screen in the main control room with all the media, shows a computer simulation of Mars, and the partially hidden screen in the other room shows, a video of mars, probably real time, with a earth like blue sky, raises more questions than it answers!

      Glad they slipped up, unless the scientists are getting tired of the BS, and slipped it in?

      Either way, it proves my point that they are keeping secrets!

      Same colour as the viking images or the video monitor sky colour, shown in the other room!

      Go to the Mars Rover site, or most other official NASA sites, and you will never see the true sky colour???

      I tried this with the Hubble images, official site, no blue apart from the clouds, then l dig a little deeper, and find the true image, (link above).

      PS l also found this Mars blue atmosphere Hubble shot in a Mars book today, so l knew that it probably existed online somewhere.


      According to NASA, Mars has a dark blue sky at sunset and red, brown during the day, although there is overwhelming evidence that that isn't the case, and it is earth like sky blue during the day, apart from the occasional dust storm, and going on dusk, not sure? The second viking image may show that colour?

      So, what l am saying is if they are trying to cover up, something like this, it could indicate that they may have found something else on Mars during the Viking era, and decided to make it less earth like and more barren, to throw the population of the track?

      Your guess is as good as mine, but if they are still trying to fool us, then it could mean a much bigger secret is below the surface, or above?

      From what l have heard India is planning to go there soon, so hopefully they will be more forthcoming?

              Yeah, another update, the video shown here has definitely been tampered with!!!!!!! :confused:


              It freezes when the scene showing the real time video, (other room) very likely beamed back to the overhead "Mars Recionnence Orbiter" which was more or less directly over the Curiosity Rover when it was descending.

              It used to show a good second or two, but now it freezes????

              You can still get a glimpse of the real time video later on, in the video but not much.


              The more they try to cover up the deeper hole they dig!!!! :rolleyes:


              I have read that the reason why they, red-skied Mars since the viking missions, was because apart from the Earth blue sky they also saw something green on some of the rocks!!!

              Obviously after discovering Martian algae, etc, someone panicked and hushed it up.


              They have been trying to hush it up ever since, but the truth is starting to leak out!!!

                Found another image to the 2004 press conference, that is virtually impossible to find in official NASA sites, funny that?



                You can clearly see the blue sky in the corner!

                Here is the other related image, NASA got to this later on and make it a murky red color. Duh!!! :confused:

                  And this one, which clearly shows why NASA is covering up the blue sky dilemma, (blue is scattered light from oxygen molecules in the atmosphere amongst other elements.

                  Or if Mars has a conformed blue sky then it also has oxygen in its atmosphere!

                  And that opens pandoras box, so to speak! :rolleyes:

                      There seems to be a lot of blue saturation done here though. The rocks are blue, looks overdone apart from a few. The other overly orange and red skies on this thread are obviously over-saturated or darkened using different color bias. Suspect the sky is a lighter blue at least than the images in the video.

                        Yes, l have to agree with you about that one; but l suspect that some of the Earth like sky blue images are genuine!

                        The NASA image of one of the previous rovers on a hill with a graded dark blue background is a good example. Unfortunately very hard to find!

                        Mars seems to have a lighter blue than Earths, not surprisingly since Mars doesn't have oceans like Earth has!

                          Ok, thought that l should post this, since l am getting sick of dumb remarks that Mars can't support life or have a Earth like atmosphere! Or if anyone here believes that it is true, they are nuts!


                          Mars Surprise! --Atmosphere is Supersaturated with Water Vapor

                          Extremely high levels of supersaturation were found on Mars, up to 10 times greater than those found on Earth. Clearly, there is much more water vapor in the upper Martian atmosphere than anyone ever imagined. It seems that previous models have greatly underestimated the quantities of water vapour at heights of 20-50 km, with as much as 10 to 100 times more water than expected at this altitude
                          This shows that high altitude organisms, (like what we have on Earth) could exist at high altitude!


                          Large Quantities of Methane Being Replenished on Mars

                          This either shows volcanism, (which hasn't been detected) or microbes or both!

                          A pile of rocks don't create this!!!

                          I admit that it could still be salty water, but if salty water can survive or is on the surface, then it opens the door!

                          And this gem, l know that the guy is flogging a book, but he also has some pretty good science to support the fact that NASA is BS us...

                          Viewed from the moon, our earth appears like a "big, blue marble" as one astronaut described it. Are rocks and dirt on earth BLUE because the sky is blue? Of course not. NASA conveniently forgets this "minor detail" and INSISTS that their images remain reddish - regardless of the negative impact good science. The book covers this in detail shows proof of color tampering.
                          THE 1% ATMOSPHERE First, we know ICE and weather exist on the planet. If the atmosphere is actually 1% that of earth, any ice would have boiled away or just evaporated. Water BOILS AWAY at room temperature well before reaching .01 atmosphere (1 %.) For all practical purposes, .01 atmospheres is a VACUUM to water's boiling point and to air-breathing life-forms. Here is a direct quote from a paper [3] written about the atmospheric pressure as measured by the Viking Landers: "The day to day atmospheric pressure variability, low in summer and higher in fall and winter, (especially at the northern site), is due to weather "fronts" quite similar to those on Earth Along with the annual cycle, meteorological fronts are indicated by the increasing variability of the pressure between fall and spring at these northern hemisphere sites as previously mentioned. The Lander 2, VL2, site is similar in latitude to Seattle, Paris or Vienna, while the southern, VL1 site, like Pathfinder, is similar in latitude to Hong Kong, Havana or Calcutta. Like on Earth, the frontal activity is less in the tropics and sub-tropics, e.g., the VL1 site. Typically, the fronts pass every few sols (mars days) on Mars, often resembling those of Earth except for the lack of rain, while at other times, they are far more regular." Note the author's statement above, that planet has weather fronts like that of earth, except it doesn't rain. But a 1% atmosphere which is essentially a vacuum - having weather? How can the planet have weather without an atmosphere?
                          Food for thought! Especially considering the probable water l have found on the surface implying rainfall!

                          Today we have rovers which are solar powered, without nuclear generators. If the average Mars temperature was actually -225° F, (-143° C) which is cold enough to keep dry ice solid, solar cells on the rovers simply could not function, and neither would any of theelectronics on the rovers.
                          Which means that the solar panels wouldn't work with NASA stats of supposed temperatures!

                          Also the dust devils cleaning the solar panels on the previous rovers couldn't exist or be possible with the 1% air pressure theory. But they do and have cleaned them!

                          You can read how NASA reacts, pretty funny, in a black humor kind of way!


                          All things considered, this seems to be going down the dodgy route, so a percentage of the population can stay snug in their beds, or ignorance is bliss!

                          And intelligent scientific investigation that clearly shows gaping holes in the 1%, mars atmosphere idea!


                          I know which side l would prefer to be on!

                          The body that wants a permanent colony on Mars, will launch a rover in 2018, or a few years time.

                          Then the real Mars will emerge!

                          I may have to warm up my, "told you so" speech!

      In 3 years time or sometime in 2018, when the 3rd party rover lands there, finds a green rock or a stream, and goes to take a closer look, (instead of NASA,s rovers that do a runner, and BS about it) it will be a big deal for all of us!

      It should finally hit the papers, because even the houstrained media will have to say something, even if it is just a "Life at Last" article on page 3.

      NASA and possibly congr.....(ahem) will be dragged through the courts and held accountable for 50 years of crap science, lies and frustrating BS!

      And if this rover finds some junk up there, then the ...... will really hit the fan.

      2018 might be the year that we have all out contact, but it will probably happen slowly, seeing closeup images of a Martian statue one day, and a UFO landing the next day in Washington is a bit too much!

      Especially for the percentage that have the Ostrich attitude!


      Me, l will be a bit stunned, but laping it up! I suspect others who have denied this with passion will, jump off something or go live in a bar?

      This could also lead to full disclosure on UFO's and eventually free energy, which explains why you need to get a NASA official in a corner and put a gun it his head to get the truth at present.

      If the US doesn't stuff up this rover from getting there, then 2018 might be a biggle!

      Certainly up there with the first moon landing!
