Brand new here so hello

Hi, only joined awhile ago and this is my first post. I am a Kindle publisher and have a graphics business. I can see there is a minefield of information on here and it must be fairly easy to get lost if not careful.
I am not a newbie in the sense that I work full time from home but we are all newbies in a way because we need to learn and grow all the time.

Look forward to making new contacts and friends on this forum.

    We have a lot in common - not graphics, though, because I'm hopeless at PS but I, too, am an author and just released a WSO on Kindle publishing.

    Hope your experience of WF is a pleasant and rewarding one.

    Welcome to the WF and you are certainly right about the risk of information overwhelm.

    That's advice I share with other Warriors: Don't jump around like a headless chicken without truly focusing on just one thing. If you need a particular piece of information, chances are you will get it on this forum but if you are already somewhat knowledgeable and know what you should be doing (how you should be taking action), don't just browse through the forums without any particular goal in mind. It's a waste of time and creativity.

    Angie, the War Room is also a great resource, if you are into graphics I think you could find some golden pieces in there.

    • Welcome Angie! I am fairly new here too - well, a month. There is a lot of information here and yes you could get lost but after a while, you'll learn to separate the wheat from the chaff. I've also figured out who gives good advice and whom to listen to.

      Hope you have the same good experience I've had!
