As a part-time Market analyst and a Warrior I need to tell you what is really going on with Western Economies and what is going to happen in the next six months and how you should protect yourself and your business.

You will be aware that western economies are not doing very well but you may not be aware that the Global financial system with the USD as the reverse currency is going to collapse this year. This will cause massive hyperinflation and permantely change the world we live and work in. This will greatly change life in the EU/UK/AUS/USA

As a business owner you need to be aware of this near and present danger and take appropriate steps. If you don't understand what I'm talking about then please research it so you are informed.

If the currency collapses it won't do shit from shinola bit of good to have warehouses of it. You need to convert it to whatever the new reserve currency is going to be for it to do you any good. Would love to know exactly which one that will be - they don't seem to want to give out that info freely.

Hmm... the global financial system collapsed at the end of 2008 and it's recovered from its depths although it's still sputtering. In the meantime, the world goes on and people are buying and selling.

Is there a point to your message? Life goes on and as long as it does there will still be demand and supply. I may worry if my product was luxury cruises targeted at the middle income, but otherwise?

People have been preaching this same dooms day scenario since before 2008. Heck, they were saying the same thing when the dot com bubble burst in the early 2000s. Its unlikely that such a thing will happen. If the Eurozone goes down, then there's a chance. But with so much at stake, I doubt they're going to let the Eurozone collapse.

Name ONE thing that is at stake to people that have no stake? I mean greece is suffering. Have THEY been given tons of support? *******NOPE********! WHAT is at stake?

GREECE? Guess not since people haven't given them tons of aid!

Eurozone crisis live: Greece seeking more time to implement austerity | Business | guardian.co.uk

EURO? Guess not, SAME REASON! Did yu know that major players never fully went into the euro? They are switching back to THEIR currencies! I predicted YEARS ago that the G7 would become the G3! I could NOT understand it! It became the G8! WHY? Russia joined, and the others didn't leave! WHY didn't they leave? Because they did NOT switch to the euro, even though they appeared to.

BTW <10 is probably perfect. If it is TOO small, they won't have the power to adequately balance things. If it is too big, they not only lose the simplicity, but the cooperation. ALSO, there aren't really that many allied strong currencies. So what happened to the G8? It is now the G20! They have threatened this as a real threat for several years, and it is the start of the fruition of a threat going back over a CENTURY!

          1. A threat proposed over a century ago said that their would be a league of nations created to tie currencies, law, and borders together making one world, even though all would be in strife. The theory is eventually all would be the same and live in utopia, YEAH RIGHT!(sarc) Strife was never mentioned, but with a megalomaniac oligarchy and a heterogenous culture, it IS a given.
          2. They had a FINANCIAL coop of sorts, called the G7.
          3. Later, they created the UN, basically the league of nations specified earlier. It even looked as implied, though none would think such a thing likely.
          4. They created the G20 which was developing nations, to facilitate cooperation between governments, but they stayed away from money.
          5. NOW the G7 has become part of the G20, so we now have 20 currencies to deal with. China and mexico are members, and how do you think THEY feel about the dollar?
          6. The final deal is to make the whole UN do the G7 stuff. They already control the militaries, are setting international AND DOMESTIC laws. SOON, they will deal with the currency ALSO! Even SWITZERLAND won't be safe!

Lol. Did you use the work hyperinflation? Atleast thats not likely in US,UK,CANADA in the next 10 years. US has enough reserves to prevent such a scenario for decades. The entire world treats the USD as RESERVES - which help prevent bankruptcy and pay for OIL. US can PRINT these reserves. Don't worry mate - the world won't end in 2012

Inflation has ALREADY started! and if you look at the value NOW to 1930? Do you realize that someone living at the poverty level today would have been considered RICH in 1930?!?!?!? The US has reserves? Reserves of WHAT?

MONEY? Well, they don't, but hyperinflation makes what you have worth FAR less!
GOLD? OK, you are INSANE if you believe THAT! The US has VERY little in reserves!
OIL? Well, a lot of those reserves were released but still not enough.

The entire world treats the USD as reserves? I guess you haven't been following things! IT DOESN'T! HECK, a few countries want OPEC to get RID of the USD relationship. I believe they started doing so.

US can print reserves? WHAT THE#$%^&*()_? I already explained how money, gold, and oil mean NOTHING as far as the US goes.

Besides, Germany was once an economic powerhouse, and IT had hyperinflation! After a world war, its currency stabilized, and now people are looking for them to stabilize GREECE which once was stable, as well as others!

      Highenergy,

You are wrong TOO! The US supports a LOT of countries and they support OTHERS! We have been down this road BEFORE! The fallout will EVEN affect china and apparently ALREADY started to. It will affect others as well.

WHEN will people learn that currency is like STOCK! A company like berkshire hathaway can EASILY print more stock! ONE share or Class A is worth 127375.00! WOW! So WHY don't they? It is AGAINST THE LAW without approval WHY? Because the value comes from ALL outstanding shares, so new shares are worth LESS even as outstanding ones are, so people must agree. And THAT is why it is called INFLATION! You INFLATE the supply and the total value remains constant, but the value per unit DROPS!

Meltdown, hyper-inflation, US reserves nearly empty! You think think that's a problem, you should be here in my house with auntie Freda. Brian she hollers get on that t'internet thingamy jig my bunions playing up again. Thats a sight to behold its as big as an orange and when its playing up its time for me to disappear. Because I work on a computer I am the fountain of all knowledge able to find all cures and remedies from bunions to baldness when all I'm doing is taking a gander (look) at stocks, shares and Forex markets which at the moment seem to be on the up, maybe all these highly paid individuals in the stock exchanges don't see that all western economies are about to collapse. Admit ably the US grain harvest is a worry but internet sales are on the increase whilst the big guns are killing it for individuals trying to eke out a living in this market. I think the millionaire internet marketer will eventually go the way of the dinosaurs.
Any way back to your post if you can throw any light on how get round the economy collapse it would be most appreciated.
PS do you know of any good bunion cures.

The law was passed in the 1980s - the budget problem and lack of resolution has been known all year and nothing was done or proposed to change that part of the law.

The thinking being that should the Department of Labor's waiver be challenged, the company would still be in compliance.
I think that will happen with some of the companies. This is the kind of political maneuvering that can come back to bite the contracting companies and they know it.

This puts contractors in a tough spot - to protect themselves after the fact they need to issue notices. If they issue notices, they may worry about losing future contracts for ignoring the "waiver".

I conducted research into this very issue some time ago and I always came to programs offering gold and silver backed investment opportunities and similar offers using people's fear of the absolute collapse of society to sell.

Every generation swears that it's all going to come to an end in their lifetime. In fact we've been on the verge of utter destruction for a millennium. Yes I know things are so bad...yada...yada...yada.

Is this time really going to be it? Who knows but I need more than paranoid ranting to rattle me.

There are some definite areas of concern but they're still fixable if people stopped complaining and got off their butts.

You can't predict what will happen because of the micro managing going on.

For example, there were tens of thousands of layoff notices to govt contractors required to be sent out 60 days in advance. This meant notices would be going out November 1 due to projected Jan 1 layoffs.

Surprise! The Labor Dept just waived (Aug 3rd - after Congress recessed) the legal requirement for a 60 day notice for layoffs. Contractors were informed they should ignore the twenty+ year old law about layoff notices. Don't want to frighten people just before an election, do we? What is the point of having laws when they can be waived for political expediency?

Seems to me we focus attention on a potential "doomsday" - one after another. While we do that the ground is chipped away under our feet and we don't notice.

I'm watching this a bit. It seems that the attitude of some companies is to issue the notices in compliance with the law. The thinking being that should the Department of Labor's waiver be challenged, the company would still be in compliance.

Tim, Thanks for being with us! Yeah, an old plan said given 60 days notice, and one group wanted to delay it after the election.

But Kay is wrong. This is all part of the SAME! The economy is going south. Sadly, it is like a giant union. The money is worth something ONLY because others will accept it! It is, in EVERY way, like a work of art! Because of the picture, and the deemed authenticity, it is worth a certain amount. an amount that keeps FALLING!

NOW, in the art world, if the author is disgraced, the art is defaced, etc... it may lose ALL value! In the currency world, as other countries drop it, as they lose interest, etc... IT loses value.

If others didn't accept the dollar. If even a mere 30% didn't accept the dollar in the US, do you think I would? NOT ON YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!! HECK, I have european currency, that is NOT the EURO! It is from several countries. THEY apparently no longer prefer the euro! Will I change that into the dollar or the euro? NOPE!

Here is the rub though! At the current rate, things could change in an INSTANT! They could literally change in less than an hour. Just look at how the stock market moves! MOST of those moves have NOTHING to do with info coming from the exchange or company! Do you think 2008 just magically happened? Or 1999, or 1987? NOPE!

What's going on is that some other countries got together and were discussing using a different currency for the reserve currency. If that happens our gooses are a little cooked. Not sure the ins and outs about that side of macro-economics though so don't know how likely it is. The way this admin is handling money, I wouldn't be one tad bit surprised if the dollar is replaced as reserve though.

Not really skimming. Thread flipping. Forget who said what between threads. Hate to reread a whole thread when there's only a few new posts.

Heed this warning. Only those who invest in the right asset classes will make it through the upcoming currency crisis. The world economy is built on leverage, and there is no more collateral.

When you study economics in depth, you will come to realize that we have been hurling towards this crisis - a currency collapse - ever since 1913. Every economic crisis since 1913 has been the Fed trying to patch up its scam so people wont fall for it for another couple of years...I dont think anybody ever expected it to get this far.

Well, it started in 1913, but they are now working hard to rip it apart!

Yeah well if you study economics, you will also realize that there are hella people with NO assets to invest in ANYTHING. Even if the economy rolls back around, without government reform there will be no (for the masses anyhow - yeah a few will get out) ability for those who got tanked to get a footing to get back up. Rules and regulations we have now drain those on the edge into complete and abject poverty. Poverty in this country means social segregation. If you want to get technical we have millions in the country now committing crimes because, and only because, they do not have the money to conform to set laws. Not only do people have the boot of financial corporate (as opposed to constitutional) law on their throad - they have no way to prepare for recovering from the meltdown when it occurs. It's a brilliant scheme to make slaves of the majority of a population. It's even been used before - a favorite action of leaders developing communistic or fascist regimes. Surprised they don't teach courses about it in Universities. Oh, I take that back - they do. Just not in any of the Universities that the average American can afford to attend. A Harvard education is beyond the means of most Americans.

So anyway - that all might seem beside the point - but it might be interesting if you would cite possible outcomes of the meltdown. If we become fascist or socialist - are you going to be able to keep any assets in which you invested? Right now "policy" - which is the word of a corporation, not a government, but better describes most of their current rulings - may just work against you actually OWNING any of your assets after a meltdown.

You aren't going to "Save" yourself from a meltdown no matter how much you have invested, unless you reform your national money systems, and your government.

I am seeing people STILL really have no understanding of then nature of fascism (the blending of corporation and government) or of Crony Capitalism (unless you have money and friend with power you can go sit in a corner and die as far as anyone is concerned).

Ask someone who actually lived in the Depression and see how fun it was.

Ask someone who lived in the Austrian Depression.

When the Banks have another "Holiday", and ALL your assets are either frozen, severely devalued or out right stolen, please remember the fun and smiles you had believing it can never , ever happen. As impervious as The Titanic was.

ATM machines locked, all the banks you visit closed indefinitely, credit cards not working, just keep that sense of humor and wry smirk going.

        Slowest hurl I've ever seen.

I don't understand predicting disaster month after month. To me, the best practice is to be as self sufficient and prepared as possible.

Truth is, it never gets quite as bad as people think it will - and it never gets quite as good as people expect, either.

The equation I see looks something like this...

The world decides to remove the Dollar as the reserve currency ( documented)

Anticipating this, and knowing they will no longer have the authority to print unlimited monies, thus no more bail outs, the Fed instructs the big banks to outline their own plan B failure plan. ( documented)

of which includes no gauranteed money security for depositors. (Means you aren't getting your money out of the bank) (documented)

And seeing how nothing has changed in the banks behavior since their last bailout, sinking to that point again is a mathematical surety. (speculation)

So, this line of thought infers that at some point millions across the country perhaps wake up one morning only to find their debit cards don't function, the bank doors are closed, and they have 16 bucks in thier pocket.

    What happens next?

I don't know for sure, but this sure is interesting...

(thats an example of one of many recent bids from a number of Federal Agencies for large quantities of ammo....in this case its the National Weather Agency....6000 rounds of plastic bullets and 500 paper targets....oh ..and 40,000 hollow point live rounds ( hollow points are designed to rip organs apart) The DHS, SS and other agencies are up above 1.2 billion rounds so far.

....can someone bring me my foil cap please.

Not really - you just parroted info posted on some alarmist blogs in the past few days. Apparently you don't know which govt agencies carry weapons or all of the duties that come under those departments.

If you look for conspiracies...you'll find what you are looking for whether it exists in reality or not.

We think of these agencies as looking at weather and sitting behind desks but many of the jobs are in the field, in the air, in disaster areas and other parts of the world.

The order sounds huge to us - but considering the number of people involved in those departments it's not a big order. Some of the jobs do require protection though most don't.

now I see the benefits of once being poor lol

            i've had water for dinner.
stayed days in house with no air conditioner in the arizona heat.
had bank accounts with .02 cents in them.
            slept on friends floors.
had to leave places with only the clothes on my back.
            been abandoned.

            I guess I'm ready
I would stock up on some toilet paper, water, can goods, booze, and cigarettes, those are the things people will want and need. They'd probably shove a gold bar up your . . . if you offered them that in hard times.
