They (spammers) are getting so clever!
I actually spammed myself! I have an email in my inbox, from me
When you hover over the name, it shows up as my email! Not sure how they're doing this, and I don't want to know, but it sure is getting scary out there!

They've been able to do that for ages, and there are a numerous amount of ways they can do it. When I find an email like that I know read the headr and see which company send it and contact them telling them their mail system has been compromised. and if they don't correct the situation and I get more emails from them using my email address that I will be contacting the authorities.

That image is weird Kim - I click to view it and it just sits there processing - never does open because I get kicked out to a login to the forum screen (even though I am logged in).

The number one sign your email address is being used by spammers is when you start getting 'undeliverable' message notices to addresses you know you didn't send anything to. -- and it sounds like about the same to get messages from yourself.

I am fighting with somebody who somehow keeps sending 'thank you for your helpdesk ticket' (@Kayako) to our helpdesk (@Zendesk) - by fives - counted about 30 yesterday. The company seems legitimate and they must have a worm they don't know about. I sent an email to tell them to stop and of course THEN was automatically registered for their helpdesk.

I submitted a ticket and keep updating it every time I get 5 ticket confirmations at a time all different numbers - at intervals all day yesterday.

I am getting ready to talk tough today if it doesn't stop.

Pat, actually the problem with the picture opening is either a browser or forum issue,I'm not sure which. I have the same issue with a lot of pictures posted here but Sal and somebody else told me to left click and select open in new window and the picture will load fine.
But the picture itself is just a screen capture I took,so I know its fine.

Nasty. That's how they deliver viruses. Viruses can be automatically downloaded merely by visiting some sites. They can be embedded in video files (making lots of corporate and government sites vulnerable since so many "lonely soldiers" watch them on the job).
