Looks good with good content but very black! I'm sure that you would not want to depress your readers so maybe you could increase the font size to alleviate the gloom or change the back ground colour to a lighter shade?

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.

Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

Artwebster, do you think perhaps a light shade of gray? or just white for the background?

      Thanks for your input!

I have much much more content to put on this particular site. That is about 25% of what I've got planned for the moment. (It's not ever suppose to be done, is it? )

I agree, black background and small white text is too hard for reading and on some monitors (especially older CRTs and cheap LCDs) the text gets blurry.

I love Black ... have a black truck, like black clothes, but black is not good for website text area and content background - unless you run a gaming site for doom and gloom LOL. The black outside the content area is fine (or even a very dark grey).

A light grey content background with black text would be fine. That would allow you to use Dark Blue, Red and Green as titles, highlighted text, etc.
